So I've just finished the story - 105+ hours according to save info (it's actually 115 but I've subtracted some to account for those times I went AFK while the game was running), 97% completion, one Heleus assignment left because the quest is bugged, and a couple small tasks left that involve collecting / locating hard to find things.
I'm curious, what are your completionist playthrough times? I assume the first playthrough will be the longest for 99% of the people, so only first playthrough times, please.
P. S. This is by far the longest ME game to date. I think ME1 was taking me 50-60 hours, 70 tops; ME2 - 30-35; and ME3 - 40-50. This is off my memory, will check my saves later but I probably no longer have my first - longest - throughways saved anyway. 100+ hours is mind blowing, I've played very few story-driven games that took so long. Maybe Fallout 3/4, maybe S.T.A.L.K.E.R. That's about it for me.
Good job delivering content that was worth the 5 years wait, Bioware!

120 hours or so. But I would get distracted and make a save then go cook something or hop in the shower because I started the game after coming back from some hiking. Maybe more like 110 would be the real number.

First play through was exactly 100hrs and 96% completion (damn Voeld and my lack of patience).
Second time playing NG+ was only 65hrs with 97% completion (bugged Movie Night and counting the dead on EOS plus a few other things).

1st with Scott 105:23 hrs at 95%. Cut about 24hrs off after getting a feel of the game. 2nd run with Sara 81:49hrs at 95%.
ME1 doing everything possible takes me 25-27hrs. ME2 and ME3 doing everything takes me about 55-60hrs depending how much I mess around in game.

My first PT was 120 hours and 98%. My third was 90 hours and 99%. I didn't check the clock on #2.
The game always speeds up after I know all the whats, wheres and hows. That third PT had several completed quests that were lacking in the first, yet passed 25% more quickly.

54 hours and 96 % completion. And here I thought I was taking my sweet time. That was before patch 1.05 when I had to wait for the whole space travel animation. I guess I am not the patient explorer I thought I was.

I think it was about 54 or 55 hrs for about 70% first time. Doing NG run, hoping to do more like 40 to 50, I like that length better.

Thanks for the explanation, I'm just starting a new PT today and now I know which option to pick NG+ is great in that it saves you so much time in terms of admin stuff like mining and crafting plus you get to keep your credits, research plans, armor and weapons and advance them (weapons and armor) to Level 10. With the Nomad upgrades it also means you can complete some missions on EOS and Voeld earlier due to the better environmental protection. The last patch fixed the worst bugs in NG+ but the one I still have is the counting the bodies quest is stuck in my journal even though it is complete. |

Still a lot faster than DAI, where a normal game for me is ~150 hrs.

I have done 2 full PTs and the total time just barely reaches what some of you took for just 1. First was around 60 hours and 98% complete while the second was done in around 35-40 hours, might be less cause I did end up skipping a lot of conversations like with Tann and Addison plus I totally blew off Liam the second time around.
