Hello
We all know that Ryder's power DMG and weapon DMG don't scale up beyond LV80, whereas enemies turn to bullet sponge. However, when I started new game + after1.06 patch with my LV 138 Ryder, I was able to maw down Ketts in Habitat 7 with M8 Avenger. My Incenerate + charge combo was doing insta kills to Chosens.
Is this just prologue thing or there's an actual fix?

Is this just prologue thing or there's an actual fix? I haven't noticed enemies being that easy to mow down since the patch. I'm at level 105 and, while the enemies aren't bullet sponges per se, they're not just falling over from a fierce glare, either.

...We all know that Ryder's power DMG and weapon DMG don't scale up beyond LV80... Not entirely true. Many percentage bonuses from passives continue to increase based on how many points you have invested in a particular tree. Example: With only the first level of OFFENSIVE BIOTICS, there is a 2% increase to biotic damage however; with a maxed BIOTICS tree (252 points invested), that 2% becomes 40%. So hitting level 80 doesn't mean you've hit a brick wall in terms of progression. You don't truly hit that "brick wall" until you've completely maxed each tree. Many of the COMBAT and TECH passives work the same. So weapon/grenade damage will continue to climb until you've completely maxed the COMBAT tree; and TECH powers will continue to improve until you've maxed the TECH tree. Also keep in mind that profile bonuses are multiplying your already multiplied stats.

The difference is very pronounced on Insanity. blog.bioware.com/2017/05/09/patch-1-06-combat-balance-updates/

I have noticed that enemy health and shields have been reduced. Not complaining, it is good that they decided to do this... But I do wish I knew this BEFORE I started over from my level 51 NG+ rather than my level 100+ one. Ohh well.

Yeah, things go down much faster now; even behemoths and those orb-kett-types. Almost feels a bit too easy now, but better this way than being bored out of my fucking mind when fighting those two.

The patch notes mainly mention MP. Is this for SP as well? The Ascendants are a pain in the ass, if they now take less time to kill I'd appreciate it.

I`m talking about SP on Insanity, level 110 or so. Intentional or not, some of the changes are definitely in effect in SP as well, at least for me they are. Prefer it this way, since enemies` damage output is still the same and I can die in about 3 seconds.

Ridiculously easy now...even with tier 1 weapons and armor and no augmentations. Bioware should at least let the player chose whether enemies should scale or not. Fun has been removed.
