Montreal was originally a DLC a multiplayer studio that got upgraded for MEA. While perhaps they weren't ready to work on a full game with the ambition of MEA, I see no reason why they'd be taken off DLC work, since that it was the studio was originally for.

it's no free, that is for sure most probably the montreal devs are working on it, not all of them were moved to other teams Never know. Ubisoft did their full expansion for Assassins Creed unity for free after it's bad release and criticisms. I don't think MEA is even in the same ball park as AC Unity's bugs but EA may want to capture good will again doing something small as a thank you to people who bought it. Then again, all the Multiplayer dlc is free which is pretty cool. If you attach microtransactions to Multiplayer... it should be free. Come on... I would expect regular price ($15) for DLC which is something Bioware should charge and re-coup. However, I would like to see light, easy-to-use tools for fluff stuff. Nothing heavy or serious like a GECK, but something like a weapon creator or an outfit creator that you can import your own designs. Just a suggestion. |

I'm not denying the fact, but where are these tweets from Cora's voice actress? I've looked at her twitter and couldn't find any tweet regarding more voice recording. She hasn't tweeted in 3-6 days and none of those tweets had anything to do with her doing more recording. Before that, most of tweets were replies to other people.

Looks like the DLC patches are coordinated between BioWare Montreal and Sinclair Networks, with the latter doing the fine-tuning before release. Until the June patch (Character Creator adjustments, M/M romance changes, etc) is released, you probably won't see much word on single player DLC. I think, if there is DLC, BioWare Montreal will the majority of it and Sinclair Networks will polish and optimize it. I'm guessing we'll see something in Sept...

In fact data shows it pushed exactly the numbers they were expecting. They expected 3 million in sales in the first week, and data backs up the fact that they got that 3 million in the first week. 3 million? Then if it cost 40 million to make, not factoring in the marketing costs...they've definitely made a profit on it already. |

If it's not already finished and waiting for release, it's anyone's guess if there even will be any DLC. And by that I mean SP, not some multiplayer map. We don't know what's going on behind the curtains, but the evidence so far points to them not really being content with how the game was received and how it sold. If that's indeed the case and they don't expect a boost by producing DLCs, they simply will leave it be. |
