So, new patch arrived yesterday:
1.Nomad shield crafting still doesn't leave the journal
2.Sam is still shouting about emails I do not have
3.I do not have any new outfit for the sooper dooper deluxe version
4.I do not have any new nomad skins for the above
5.My strike teams all at level 20 still will not give me the "Top Talent" achievement - even when the strike team screen isn't stuck - yes, have also retired them
6.Still can't get 'Hang time' achievement on a pc irrespective of how long I stay on the mining planet, where I go etc
I have been back into all 4 previous playthoughs to test - zip, zero, nada. Reaching the end of the 5th playthrough - zip, zero nada -items 1-4 above are supposed to be 'fixed' - uh-huh
Do I have to start over?

Are you sure you installed the patch and it's active? Maybe try doing a repair to your game just to make sure. As to the new outfits, there is a bug where they're not always showing up in old saves and you have to load a save from before you looted your Deliveries cashe; it's being looked into. I would suggest the quickest way to make sure it's working is to see if you have the free MP box since that seems to work for everyone.

Alright, I did a little checking for you with my game.
1) It left my journal on my NG+ while showing being completed.
2) SAM stopped telling me about emails if I didn't have any new ones.
3 and 4) With my two saves it worked with one and not the other.
5) I had this working prior to the patch, all my Strike Team missions I handled in the game itself, but it wouldn't give me completion credit if I was using the app.
6) I just completed this on my first game. Never even knew about it before hand. It is annoying and feels like it was put there just to challenge people.

Seems it works for some on ng+ but at least a few said it doesn't work. If you don't want to lose your current game, try saving it on a flashdrive or cloud storeage, then you have a back up, if it's ever complete confermed to work on ng+, then you can start from scatch, if it's not working on your current game, but can still go back to your backup save, if you feel the new stuff wasn't worth starting over again.

Hi everyone, thank you all very much.
I did have to start a new game (#6) - none of the stuff worked in the previous 5.
I don't use the app for strike teams as I have no cellphone - the trophy still hasn't worked - *sigh*. Pretty much over it now.
Oh and you can't deconstruct the new ghost rifle - only has a destroy option - since it's a crafted weapon that's a bit tedious!
Onwards and upwards - hoping there'll be some new stuff soon.

Thanks again everyone who answered. With the strike teams if you were claiming them only in the single player area if you feel like doing them still try in the multiplayer area or vice versa. I know I was having problems in one of the areas. |

If you encounter problems/bugs already in your NG+ playthrough, you need to start a new game. Trust me, i tried, but what was broken - is still broken in my current playthrough. The only problem is, that in the next 2-4 weeks there is another big patch coming, that's why i ask myself - is there any point to start a new NG+ playthrough NOW, cause another patch will probably require AGAIN to start a game from the beginning...

That's my concern also. Will a new patch screw again with what you already achieved? My NG+ saves are bugged as hell and I can't muster the enthusiasm to go through all of the early stuff again. Not even knowing, if a new NG+ run even solves the problems or if you have to start with an entirely new character. I found out that my fully upgraded weapons didn't do any damage all of a sudden. And to boot that, all the bugs were still in my game. Probably hard coded into the saves. The new stuff, well I can do without it. Neither the new outfit nor the additional Nomad paints are must haves, but the fixes are certainly something I'd like. Most of all the Nexus level, which finally allows for waking up everybody. |

I can bet that this incoming patch, like 1.06, will be able to fix ONLY new playthrough in NG+, not the current one. Probably will be better if you will wait for another patch and then start a new game. I am not planning right now to comeback to MEA, but when / if I will, must be sure that this time NG+ work well. |

I'm pretty much on halt for my NG+ 100% completionist run until all patches come out, may even just wait till all DLC comes out. Kinda funny how people need to restart hours of a play through just to get a bug fixed *shrugs* |

I would suggest the quickest way to make sure it's working is to see if you have the free MP box since that seems to work for everyone. Prior to the patch, I was stuck on the Cardinal. It would always take me 10+ minutes just to get him to 25% health. After the 1.06 patch, I blew threw the cardinal in under 5 minutes, and had to check to make sure the difficulty wasn't lowered. So at the very least the difficulty rebalance is working for me. |
