It is low to immediately jump into full-SJW mode and twists context to accuse somebody you disagree with. It is more than obvious that when somebody says that Sara looks like she has down syndrome or otherwise retarded, it is absolutely clear from context that it has nothing to do with medical conditions whatsoever. But ppl like you would go any length to invalidate opinion and pin down someone you disagree with. Well done! *clap,clap,clap*

Well, I don't know why are there people that don't play her and complain about her looks. It's like being able to ignore the bad taste and smell of shit but still complain about it. Since you're not eating it, then you shouldn't complain, right? Noone's forcing you to eat it. Just play your own character, which looks beautiful as f*ck and don't waste your breath and energy on complaining about something that apparently doesn't concern you. For someone who doesn't care about default Sara you seem to be awfuly concerned about her looks, especially judging by how many insults you put in your post.

As for why people actually care, I will tell you. Have you ever considered that for other people the presets might actually look like shit? So they stick with the default, because whatever you say, it uses higher quality assets and it's being constantly improved. That's especially true if someone actually like the GENERAL idea of Sara's looks but doesn't like some small, individual stuff about her (for example I don't like her jaw and chin).

Currently the Character Creator doesn't allow you to recreate Sara on other presets, so you cannot change that small iritating stuff. So people have two ways to deal with this: a) stick with the default and complain a bit so maybe BioWare will fix it / improve it, create their own character out of the presets they hate and complain even more that CC sucks because they can't even come close to what they like. The thing is that currently no matter which way you pick, you won't end up with exactly the kind of character you like. That's why you see complaints - from people who play defaults and from people who play customs.

I do find it offensive when medical conditions that are beyond ppl's control are used in an insulting way.  That doesn't make me a SJW, it makes me a compassionate human being.
