Okay, with previous ME1 playthoughs I went to Asteroid X-57 quit quickly. But today I was reminded that the reward we can get at the end of that mission, can be quit good if your character is of a higher level. Now my Vanguard is currently level 36, and I was planning to do the Asteroid X-57 mission this evening/night, but after the reminder I am some what curious. Is it perhaps better ( Reward wise. ) to first do Feros and maybe also Virmire before Bring Down the Sky?
Or is it not true that you get a better reward if your character is of a higher level? ( Then my level 36 Vanguard I mean. )

It's been a while since I played ME1, but yeah, if I remember correctly, the trinket you get from the engineer gets better when you're a higher level.
But if you have Pinnacle Station and some credits to spare, it's far easier to get all the top items via Shepard's appartment.

And yeah I have Pinnacle Station but I freaking forgot to install it. I do not want to re-install everything right now, so I guess I will re-install everything once I am done playing with my Vanguard.

Personally I do it when I have one planet then Ilos left to do. That way the gear is of a high level but I still have a decent amount of gaming left to use whatever I got. If you wait till just before Ilos then the gear will be even better of course, but you'll only have it for that short period of the game.
You can get rare high level Quarian gear for Tali off him, or a nice high powered omni-tool as well. I think if you're doing new game+ then the gear is super high level.

Well I will do Feros first, that should give a few levels more. After that I will see what I do. ( A new game+ could is also a good idea. )

BDtS follows the leveling guide per the Wiki: masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Experience_GuideIt only bumps up every 6th level... So, at Level 37 to 42 (which, if you start it right away, you should be at Level 37 by the time you finish BDtS), you would most likely receive Level VIII gear. If you're at Level 43 to 48, you'll probably get Level IX gear. So, you'll want to keep that in mind when deciding to do the DLC. It really is only 1 item though. Pinnacle Station has the potential to garner you lots of great items (at a cost of 220,000 credits per item). You can go back to the apartment repeatedly right through to the end of the game. The items you get are random, but they often sell to Dr. Michel for more than the 220,000 credits you paid for them (if you don't want to keep them). I think you can install Pinnacle Station mid-game and it will just add the location for it into the galaxy map (at least I'm pretty sure I installed it mid-game on my Xbox 360 when I first got it and had no problems).

( Then my level 36 Vanguard I mean. ) Lucky for you I was replaying ME1 for the thousand time. From level 36 and beyond the gear becomes good as you raise your level, you are correct. But more important, starting with level 36, which is the level were Shepard gain only one talent point per level, the gear you receive is always Level VIII. If you are looking for the omni-tools I recommend waiting until you get at least the level IX Savant omni-tool (I think is level 43 and beyond). But if you are looking for armor, go there, because you will gain at least a Colossus level VIII. A Colossus level VIII armor at level 36 or even 40 is basically cheating, because almost nothing can kill you easely. I did this BTW, started the DLC at level 29 and when I ended I was at level 37 or something, picked a light Colossus for my Engineer and that's it. Noveria and Virmire became much more pleasent, specially Noveria and those awful Rachni. One wrinkle though: at higher levels is hard to gain too much levels, if you go there at level 50 for example at best you will reach level 53; but at lower levels you gain a ton of XP, wich makes leveling easy.

On holiday on Dantooine. This whole "vengeance on the Jedi" thing gets very tiring after a while.

I always do BDtS third, after Therum and Feros. The titan armour you get if you do it early on is more useful at lower levels than the Collosus is for higher ones, because you'll be OP by that point anyway.
Unless you want the omni-tool, then this reply was useless to you.
