Put some hours into Andromeda...

I think the overall story and writing in Andromeda is fine.

Only 2 new races and one of them is an indoctrinated enemy, ring any bells. Companions, one is an Asari who studies ancient ruins, ring any bells, the next is a woman who decides she is your second (Cora=Miranda), there's Jacob...er I mean Liam, there's Wrex...er Drack, a turian, etc. They call that mimicking. The dialogue is atrocious. I am a writer who is a dialogist, we tell our stories through dialogue.  MEA's dialogue is not well written at all. Honestly, the good is the combat which is fun and the exploration which is also fun. Why even give us companions from the Milky
Way. Wouldn't it have been much more fun, letting us run with two human companions until we investigate a planet, then we get an Angara, on the next planet we pick up a new companion of a new species, on another planet a new companion of a new species.

I feel absolutely nothing for the companions. Would have rather had Gil, Suvi and Jaal down there with me. None of them give me the "gosh I miss MEA and should play it again feeling" like I got in the other games. I could go on and on but I'll stop here. I'm enjoying the game for the combat and exploration and the over all arch but nothing is going to make me play it a second time. I've played the games in the trilogy several times each.

Inb4 this is closed - I would really like to see the RPG Maker remake of MEA

I am enjoying the clips, if Bioware clips were as good as these in MEA the game would have been more exciting.
