Full-fledged story DLCs à la LotSB or Trespasser? Hell no, they shouldn't be free. A more reasonable pricing policy would be welcome though, but I don't expect that from EA. They could add some smaller side content for free like that one game we don't talk about did, but I don't think this would fit BioWare/EA's MO either.

I could see them offering the First small DLC free as a way to apologize to some of the harsher critics. But any big DLC would be a paid for and only available on Organ.

If there are DLC's for MEA, and most importantly that "Quarian Ark with all other Species" DLC all dlc's should be free for everyone, it would do a great good to the game, to fans/customers and to Bioware and EA reputations I agree with a one off free DLC, just to make up for a messy release, but after that, no, developers need to eat and feed their families, even if some folks see them as gods. |

I doubt they will be free. But if EA wants to make a gesture towards people who pre-purchased the game as a reward for their loyalty to the BW brand, I think giving them a paid DLC for free would be appropriate

Man, I'm practically the engineer and conductor on the 'BioWare dun fucked up with this game and should eat costs to fix it' train, but I don't think the DLC should be free. Even if it weren't against the business model, the fact just is the only way they'd even produce DLC is with the expectation they'll be paid for it.
At MOST, a DLC season pass would be nice, pay a flat fee once for all forthcoming DLC. But that's never been a BioWare model - from Mass Effect 1 to now, it's been pay as you go, and I doubt we'll see a change here and now.
