IF there are DLC's, they should be free

As much as I like for them to be free, I don't see that happening.

I would definitely appreciate a free DLC, but I really can't see that happening, at least not with a story DLC. If it was free, I don't think it'd be a quality and worthwhile addition to the story. Maybe smaller things like the gun we got in the last patch?

If it was gonna happen there would have been a code in your game cover when you bought it.

Only DLC that should be free is stuff that fixes problems. Those are called patches.

BioWARE Austin made The Descent, even though they didn't make Inquisition.

I think we'll see them, but they'll come out later. They don't want the scrub studio making it.

I'm willing to pay for dlc, considering it's been hard work for some people over there. They deserve at least some payment for it

The extended cut ending in ME3 was the only free dlc they have offered, that I know of, and that was an emergency fix, so to speak. I felt the prices for the other dlcs in ME3 were fair. What could happen, and should is that as the original trilogy ages, the prices for all of it needs to come down. 5 year old plus games and they still fetch roughly half msrp today. And the Bioware pts system has to go.

I think it's silly to expect actual plot-based DLC for free. The game was a bit of a mess, but it wasn't terrible, and that's what patches are for.

I have no problem paying for decent DLC as long as it's entertaining enough and functional enough (and frankly if it's not entertaining or functional I wouldn't particularly want it even if it was free).

Free DLC? Somewhere in the far distance, if you listen intently enough, you can hear the faint sound of Electronic Art's laughter.

Yeah, they want the money - even if they are selling stuff that was probably in the game (or at least planned as part of the game...I am talking about the Quarians and their Ark (!) because otherwise I don't think you'd find all that Quarian trash-loot, like a Quarian Sensor Array etc...I don't know if it was removed early or just prior to reaching gold status, but IMHO it was removed from the main game as a money grab because, let's face it: The Quarian race is a fan favourite and most of us will pay for a DLC containing a lot of Quarians!)

ps: IMHO they should take the leap of giving us free DLC, but as I've already stated: I seriously doubt that they will (or at least: EA won't let them, even if the guys at Bioware want to do that!)

Back in the day ME2 DLC was around $10. ME3 story DLC (excluding the free Extended Cut) was $15 each. With the increased base sticker price of Andromeda over the previous games, it might even be $20 per DLC.
