Has anybody else had an issue with this mission? Every single time I get near the mission location my game crashes, it's really frustrating.
I'm playing the game on Xbox One if that makes any difference.

Is it happening post patch?
Never crashed for me, but fwiw it's one of the lamest missions in the game. Barely anything happens at all so it's no problem to skip it.

I'm playing the game on Xbox One if that makes any difference. havent played on 1.06 but it worked fine during 1.04 and 1.05, the mission is pointless like many others, a filler, a time sink, nothing more, you will not miss anything, just ignore it, until they descend to fix it. |

Yes. I'm on X bone as well, and it's happening to both my Sara and my Scott (so multiple characters across multiple saves). Am currently running my Sara back through new game plus, again, and was hoping it wouldn't be an issue this time.
Hoping it means they've fixed Task: Running a Fever.

It impacts the three quests on that ridge Emergency S.O.S., Contagion, and picking up the relic. I was still able to complete all but Emergency S.O.S., but the others crashed during them I just gave the game a visual indication of my frustration and completed them with only a single crash on each. |

Before I got around to repairing my game, I got distracted, did other things, and when I got back to it, I could play it again. My game started near the relic place so I hopped into the Nomad and drove the opposite direction of the SOS place. I had finished the relic quest and was then able to do the Contagion quest, so for me, only the SOS quest caused my game to freeze. I don't plan to go back there until I've finished this game, if I go back there at all. I just noticed that when I was on the Nexus, the news guy was talking about repairs being done on the Salarian ark but I'm not to a place in the game where I'm close to finding the ark. I can't remember if the new guy talked about the ark too soon in my other games.  |

It crashed for me on PS4 three times, just when I got near the outpost. I was able to do the relic mission just fine. I was on a NG+ that I started pre-patch and had been able to complete Emergency S.O.S in that play through without a problem. When I play again I'm just going to skip it and go on to Contagion. I did like the NPC's banter in Emergency SOS, and I'm a completionest, so I'll probably head back and do the quest once the bug gets fixed (if it gets fixed). The quest is pretty minor, so fixing it might not be a high priority.

Yeah, freezing for me too (PS4). It's upsetting, but not nearly as upsetting as Bioware not giving me an option to help out these aspiring entrepreneurs in the first place.
