Looks like she put on a few stone in preparation for this battle. Probably had a training montage and everything.
The most laughable thing isn't even they clearly used a male soldier, it's they built her up to have some consequence later down the road after her contrived escape. And this was the grand revenge. The reason she was granted plot armour: A nothing side quest and a slightly delayed death.

All the side quests may start out interesting, but usually have pretty unimpressive conclusions. It feels like they were all rushed eve though the stories behind them are all unique. |
