Your Favorite Squad For Combat

Drack, Vetra/ Cora.

Drack and Vetra or Peebee are easily my favorites when it comes to setting up enemies to explode. Is anyone else annoyed by the shield boost Cora does all the time. I'm about to respec her so she doesn't have it at all. I wonder, if she doesn't have the ability active, will she still yell out that she's giving shield assist?

Levels 1 - 35 = Drack and Liam. Drack is simply a MEGA DESTROYER and Liam always comes down with that havok strike like a divine intervention. Both guys are hardy and playing as a biotic they made sense

Levels 35+ = Drack and Cora because Drack is still a MEGA DESTROYER but Cora has developed that huntress grade cryo attack. With Cora cryo priming and Ryder detonating we turned countless battlefields into winter wonderlands. Glorious

I usually pick for banter, so either Vetra/Cora or Peebs/Drack. Combat wise I prefer the former because Cora is a beast, and her charging out of nowhere is cool.

I agree. Drack gettin' a lot of respect in this thread.

Honestly at this point I wish I could solo the game to make it more challenging, but Drack and Cora because they compliment the widest range of playstyles. I generally can't stand PB but I think she has some of the best banter.

Normally I keep Drack in my party for he is my favorite squad member in the game and well with him I don't need an army. Cora is generally my second pick because with her cryo abilities primes everything for destruction. If I am playing on an easier difficulty I would pick a character that suits the area better such as Jaal on the Angora planets.

One character I don't use is PB because I think one of her abilities might be bugged for when I have her in my party I will get enemies that I am told are invalid targets to charge.

My vanguard Ryder is always charging into enemies with his shotgun, while Liam does a mixture of range with his grenades and melee with his double omni-blades. Meanwhile, Vetra back us up from afar, which give us support since Liam and I always stick together up close on the enemies.

Liam is my bro, and I enjoy his small talk with Ryder during our journey. Vetra is his girl, and she keeps Ryder and Liam focus.

Drack and cora are the most survivable squaddies and benefit the PC by priming, detonating and shield generating.

For straight combat?

On my first playthrough as Biotic Scott Ryder - Cora and Drack. Cora because she primes a lot of targets I can detonate and charges at enemies left and right. Drack because he's a monster on blood rage that zips around every environment like Yoda on speed, blasting everyone with his war hammer of doom and killing enemies left and right.

On my second playthrough as Tech Sara Ryder - Liam and Drack. Liam because he, like Cora for a biotic, primes targets for Tech detonations, plus he has impossibly high health and shields. I noticed while I was on Kadara this morning both his health and shields are over 1000, while Drack, by comparison, had 1000-some health and only 800-some shields. Drack because he's a monster on blood rage that zips around every environment like Yoda on speed, blasting everyone with his war hammer of doom and killing enemies left and right.
