It's not too bad, but Kadara's doors are ridiculously slow!

It's not too bad, but Kadara's doors are ridiculously slow! This is what I wanted to point out as well. Some of the doors take WAY too long to unlock. It's really annoying when you just want to look around and explore the place a little bit.

It's really annoying when you just want to look around and explore the place a little bit. I use a 360 controller for PC and the one thing that bugs me more is the "Y" sometimes won't appear to talk to someone, or I have to angle myself in an odd direction to get it to show up. Had that issue with DAI too.

It's not too bad, but Kadara's doors are ridiculously slow! Agreed. For most things, it's not too bad at all. But I just don't understand why Kadara's doors take so bloody long to open. It really is annoying, and makes no sense. I wonder if it's an oversight? Maybe doors were programmed that way in the beginning, then they realized it was too stupidly-long and decided to change them all, but someone just forgot to change the ones on Kadara? *shrugs*

Always have to approach the NPC on their left, and then angle slightly away (again to the left).

I HATED how you were supposed to use the "hold E/Y/Δ" function for hacking.... Like, it's just moving more slowly. That's not a minigame or anything it's literally just a waste of time. If we're supposed to be hacking something make it a minigame. Anything is better than standing there while the circle slowly fills up

I dont mind holding Triangle (or E, in PC's case) to interact with things, but I do have one nitpick here: Why the hell does it take like 30 seconds of holding the button to open basic doors in kadara port?

It may be a set animation to allow things to load up on the peasant boxes, like you had in the ME2 loading screens.

Only difference here is actually holding the button.

On the ps4, I use the triangle button. What bothers me more is that triangle is also used for melee. So when in combat, if there's a container close by or remains of an enemy, I can't melee an enemy until I pick up whatever that item is. So I end up shooting the enemy or using a power.

Holding is OK for me, better than randomly clicking when you didn't mean to and starting a cutscene/loading screen, but the doors in Kadara (and a few other buttons scattered throughout the game) are ridiculous.

It's like the loot button in DAI. I am in the middle of a fight and I pick up look and get hit. My melee button does that in MEA. I stab so many doors during fights, trying to open them.

I get around this by quick tapping, since melee doesn't need to be held down at all to function and there's no heavy melee like ME3.

Had that issue with DAI too. Same here. And that's annoying as hell. Having to chase the sweet spot to enter a conversation. Even worse when the character in question zig zags away when you approach them. There's another issue. If you happen to have your weapon drawn and you want to open a door, make sure to stand perfectly still. Otherwise you perform a melee attack, which made me fall through the ground at several buildings.

Maybe that was it?
