As I have no images of Javiks butt I ibstead offer this friendly comparison.
Titled: From Mass Effect 3 to Andromeda; A tale of two aliens.
We have two new characters, two new species. Both are soldiers.
You have your first moments introducing yourselves and deciding where you go from there.
First up is Commander Javik The Avatar of Vengeance.
Nice guy, right. Well no, he's a jerk really but thats actually part of his appeal, eventually he can be swayed into inspiring others instead of shitting on and attempting to slaughter them.
He's beyond cool and has an awesome tital.
Good stuff.
Next up is Jaal the resistance cat thing guy with badass scars.
Not only does Jaal look like a shaved cat thats become trapped in a radiation chamber at some point, but he's also a giant pussy and he only manages to get worse the longer you know him. At one point he even cries like a girl and then invites you home to hug his mother.
Not so great stuff....

This game doesn't even give you that. This game relies too heavily on predecessors to set up that world. "And take that world" is the tagline for this game.

Eh. I liked them both quite a damn bit. Javik brought depth to the story about the Reaper war, which desperately needed some. Jaal added context for the fight against the Kett, other than the Kett were some seriously ugly bastards, and some insight to the Angaran culture.

Javik is one dimensional and the primitive shit got old fast. Dunno why he's so popular outside of shitting on the original asari pariah. Jaal's funny, can actually pull the stick out of his ass and has a personality that contained more than primitives this or primitive that. And it's nice to have a squadmate with vocal inflections.
