Am I the onlyone that felt like I pre-ordered MEA to be a pre-alpha tester? I didn´t even got my compensations for pre-ordering the deluxe edition as they promise but got nothing instead than more bugs?
Am I the onlyone that got hazarous conditions on Voeld even when I fixed the vault after the first patch? Im really not buying or recommending any bioware game anymore. They just laught at us. They spent more money and time on publicity than in the actual game. GAME INDUSTRY is just IT, a BUSSINES and "WE" the GAMERS are your CLIENTS and you are a SERVICE. So take things seriously or you guys will lose actually CLIENTS. MEANING "NO MONEY". Hope you get it.

Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it is a bug. Voeld does warm up, it just doesn't warm up enough that you can stay outside in your underwear without suffering frostbite.

Just give it some time till the industry crashes again. It might, i think crowdfunding delayed the inievitable. Its not only gaming that is struggling though. The film industry might take a huge hit aswell at some point. |

If you preorder any game, the joke's on you, I would say. In this day and age I've yet to find any game not being a glorified beta at release. The last game I preordered was Oblivion in 2006. And I learned my lesson.

I didn't come across many bugs on PC, imo there have been way buggier releases in the last few years. Should it have been better? Of course, but it wasn't terrible either. Mmmm....just because you didn't come across many doesn't mean they don't exist, and that they don't affect a large number of people. There's a 150+ list of open issues over at AnswersHQ, right now. A significant number of them are crash/game breaking bugs. |

I'd call it a late beta rather than a pre-alpha. A pre-alpha, you'd be lucky if the game loaded at all. In most cases, it does load, and you can start playing. But there are still a significant number of bugs that really should not have made it into a full release if the game had been thoroughly tested.

Bioware should learn from the guys that made Horizon Zero Dawn. That game was just awesome, no complain about that game is by far the best it was released this year imo |

It went from -41C to -41C, both before 1.06 and after, at least for me. Dunno how that qualifies as warming up. |

I fixed Voeld's vault pre-1.05 and it definitely did not fix the cold hazard. The characters even commented that it would take Voeld a while to recover. I think it's a bit silly that the other planets get fixed straight away and Voeld doesn't, but it's not a bug. However, if you stand in the middle of the colony then there is no cold hazard. Maybe that is what you are thinking of. |

Just pointing out that other game Companies do this too. Looking at you Skyrim. I hoped for better from Bioware. Just because Bethesda gets away with it doesn't excuse them. Also, the thing about Skyrim, and GalCiv for that matter, is that they are very moddable. So shortcomings from the company can be fixed by the player in many cases (this doesn't make what the company does any better, but it sure affects our experience with 'em). Bioware since it's acquisition has always been very tight lipped about people modding their games, and occasionally outright tries to prevent it. Which, come to think of it, is an odd stance, since one of their other cash cows, The Sims, is super easily moddable, and modding is encouraged. |
