So, lets assume that the last dlc involves The Benefactor in some way shape or form. As a final choice, you are given the option to reveal the Reapers or not to reveal the Reapers. In a similar way to how Trespasser ends, I'm mostly curious how the AI (and the Anagra) as a whole will react to from it's civilians to the leadership. Oddly, it just ends there (and rather frustratingly I might add) and I don't believe that you can talk to Tann about it. The only other person you can discuss with it is your twin. I feel like it doesn't matter and I wouldn't want to rock the boat, so to speak. Considering the fact that the Reapers don't seem to care about other galaxies, but I don't know. I may do it because I'd be curious about the reaction.

How many would believe Ryder? So no. I would not tell anyone.

Thread needs a poll.
But no I don't think, as Ryder, I would tell anyone. Like themikefest said, who would believe them? I would probably tell my sibling and a few others in the squad/crew, but other than that I'd keep tight lipped about it.

There's to much evidence to ignore: Hackett's warning, Primarch being dead, and the Reaper sound. That's hard evidence to ignore.

What's the point of revealing the truth about the Reapers? The Milky Way is two-million light years away for them to be able to go and check whether everything is all right. The Initiative has already been through enough. Telling it's people that they might be the last members of their respective species is adding needless pressure and panic. These guys have just started to hope again, more bad news is not what they need right now.

Absolutely not. That's a sure fire way to start the uprising 2.0.
There's no positive outcome for telling the people. They can't return or contact home. However, telling them could cause public outrage, anger at the Initiative leadership, and ultimately more riots. You risk the cohesion of the entire Initiative with nothing to gain.

Nope, keeping that secret. It wouldn't change anything anyway as we have finally started to settle in Andromeda. All it might do is having people question your sanity, or as others mentioned another uprising.

Sure. I didn't like keeping Jien Garsen's murder a secret from the likes of Kandros and Tann, either...
I'd start a panic just to see what would happen from a meta perspective, though (and maybe laugh because I'm sick).

Wouldn't say a word. The folks in Andromeda are not the best at handling bad news, after all. Besides, they'll figure it out eventually (in future generations) when: - (red) new arks show up with refugees from the destroyed/rebuilt galaxy = a bit of tenacity injected into the Andromeda gene pool - (blue) new arks show up full of people praising the new benevolent reaper gods = a new religious sect in Andromeda (yay) - (green) a bunch of green-eyed weirdos show up and assimilate them = RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!! Of course, by then, the Andromedans will likely be partially synthetic as well, so...yeah...

First, address the idea that the AI is "about" fleeing the Reapers. It isn't. The AI was already something happening when the MB learned about the Reapers and decided to funnel a lot more money, resources and people into it so that it would launch sooner. Also, more people to increase rate of survival. The AI, as created by Jien Garson, was about exploration and colonization of a new galaxy, as well as eventually creating a trade route back to the MW.
Second, I'm not sure I would keep it a secret. It's true that people have a habit of reacting poorly to bad news, but I can think of a reason why I ought to tell them. People have had the idea that they could go back home if things don't work out and so maybe don't put as much effort into making sure everything proceeds as smoothly as possible. If you know that there's no hope, than civilization as you knew it was gone and you were its last hope, you just make start making some better decisions.

difficult choice. On one hand I think they have a right to know, but on the other, the knowledge will only lead to pain and anger... I think my Ryder would keep it to herself and close confidants, at least for a while.

If Ryder tells anyone those folks would most likely have questions. Would Ryder risk mentioning a benefactor and the murder of Jein Garson. Doing that would/could risk never knowing who killed Garson and who the benefactor is.
Remember when talking with Suvi? She says her parents lived out their lives while she slept. What do you think would go through her mind if Ryder mentions an enemy was attacking Earth? Were her parents killed? Did they survive? She probably become very depressed thinking about what may have happened to them.
The above are reasons why I wouldn't tell anyone. They left Earth and the Milky Way knowing both were ok. Let them keep that thought.
The other thing, from what I said at the top of this thread, would anyone believe Ryder?

Every member of the AI will have already made their peace with the fact that everyone they know and love is long dead by virtue of the 600 year thing. They've also made their peace with the fact that this is a one way trip for them and they're never gonna see their home planet again.
I'd tell 'em.

Well regardless of the general population, I'd definitely tell close associates such as my sibling. They needed more conversations anyway.
It's frankly a bit bizarre that finding out that in-universe bombshell results in one small conversation with SAM and then Ryder apparently forgetting that everyone in the Milky Way is likely dead.
