I haven't played the game in a couple days due to other stuff. Is it really that bad?
Me too and it's funny, cause I take a break exactly because of the problems the game has and when I return to hear about it, it's in even worse state than before lol.
If I was meant to be controlled, I would have came with a remote. I’ll forget but not forgive. It’s not me, it’s you. I’ll not shed a single tear for any person in this whole world, but I’ll shed all my tears for all the animals in the universe, dead or alive.
Congrats Bioware when EA drops the axe just know it will be well deserved. You shit on the small playerbase that you had left playing MP. Well done. They will write fables of your incompetence and greed after your demise.
Firstly, making a thread dedicated to telling the developers of a game to "@#$% themselves" is not only immature but utterly pointless. It resolves nothing, provides no feedback that can be used to solve to problem. It is about as helpful as smacking a computer tower while screaming it is a peace crap over the phone with a support specialist on the other end asking you what is wrong with it?

Glad you came back, because it's...
Thank you!! Here's my contribution

I agree with you. The effective thing to do is to starve them to death. If we all work together by ignoring them and withholding our cash, EA will most certainly "solve the problem."

Well, technically yes, but it feels so damn good. And sometimes, if you kick your old computer in the balls, it can actually boot. It helps, you know, it fixes things, some lose wires magically get aligned to where they should be.
And, yes, screaming on the phone can get you a refund sometimes. It works if nothing else works, try it.

The thread idea is lame, I give you that, but not pointless. The objective is catharsis.
Dev A: "Hmmm, it seems that expert packs have the pity timer as well. Based on these drop rates, with the current number of characters, mods and weapons, people who play constantly will max out their manifests after a couple of months and no-one will buy Andromeda Points any more!"
Dev B: "Maybe we could increase longevity, and even encourage more purchases, by providing new content and increasing support and communication with the community."
EA/Biower: "LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL nah GTFO. No srsly ur fired u dicksneeze"
Good to know where they priorities are. Well i guess it was clear from the start but its nice to have a proof. The MP seems like it was designed to push microtransactions first and this new update just confirms it. It did feel so with ME3MP.
One-thousand credits is my humble price Whether it's nickel, iron, stone or ice Only the wayfaring patron would dare A merchant cruiser, a skyway corsair
"We didn't anticipate that people wouldn't be purchasing Premium Packs with Andromeda points as a result of our intentional game design to have a "pity timer" implemented in this game. As a result, we have significantly reduced the likelihood that a user will unlock an ultra rare item through an Expert Pack. We wanted to extend the micro-transaction marketplace for as long as possible, and felt this was a necessary implementation for the longevity of the community.
With regards, Game Baron, Bioware
Hmm... that seems ... convoluted?
Before the pity timer was removed (or whatever the change was) premium packs were the obvious best choice with andromeda points and expert packs seemed to be the best choice with credits. This makes premium packs the best both ways, but I'm not sure that that's going to have any direct effect on people buying andromeda points.
I do think they might have overnerfed things on the expert pack side of things. They didn't have to make premium packs several times better than expert packs to make them be better, I think?
Wait does that mean they actually watch the threads here? or maybe someone ratted us out on the official channels! Or they actually tested something out in their game and it had to be this huh?
