Drack is undoubtedly a great feature in MEA.
His life story is a blast from the past. We play as Drack during the Krogan Rebellions. Fans win as they return to the beloved lore of the Milky Way.

Certainly would be preferable to captain bland's monotonous adventure 2. Can't see it having much Mass market appeal though. I'd love a game where the Krogan are the villains but it would probably have to have stupid humans in it.

Bad idea.
People want their BioWare protagonist to feel like theirs and if they don't they don't like it. Look at the complaints about how bland Ryder is, Drack would be worse because it would be basically using your standard FPS character with a set background and you cannot alter the character in anyway.
If I want a FPS with even less RPG elements, I can have that with Call of Duty or Battlefield.

I'm not sold on the idea of playing as an alien at all, let alone a preset one. People already complain that the aliens in this series are too human. Playing as one only exacerbates that issue.
