- NOT being a dick to Gil Is that even an option. I mean being a dick to Gil? If so, where do I sign up? I'd rather a "knocking Addison on her ass" option.

Choosing to make Prodromos a science outpost instead of a military one. At least you get a security detachment to help you in the final mission if you choose military. If you choose a science outpost you get nothing. As for the Nexus thing, it's a lose-lose situation: if you choose military, science families will complain. If you choose science, military families will complain. Whatever. *shrug* Once all the patches are in, I'll do a second playthrough and make Prodromos a military outpost. I'm sure I'll get some disapproving looks from the Angarans for doing so which is why for my 2nd game I'll be playing Sara and initiate diplomatic, yet mind-blowing sex with Jaal (just in case the promised 'expanded romance options' for Scott don't include him). "We made it" indeed.

I think they are all the same people, actually. They say the exact same thing except for "military" vs "science." There's more difference in the angaran ambassador's reaction than with the protesters.

Yeah...seems impossible to have a decent conversation about the game without a troll chiming in with some nonsense to get attention. I'm actually surprised no one has posted some edgy meme/gif yet. And yet they hang out on a forum about the game they hate. One can only surmise their lives are miserable as shit and that disliking the game was more likely than liking it because they don't seem to be capable of finding joy in things. Really to some degree, finding fun in a game is up to the player. Sure there are some things about it that are meh. Some things that are not good. But none of them prohibit you from finding some fun in the game unless you remain focused on only that.

Yes, a decent conversation. I enjoyed the conversation where the OP talked about kicking people in the balls that 'hated' the game. Sounded like an inmate looking for his asylum but a bunch of you liked his post. So for you, a decent conversation is one where everyone agrees and those who don't should be insulted, or if someone can make it happen, maimed or murdered. Let's hear it for decency and good conversation! And in fairness, the thread title is about regrets. It's not really trolling to say you regret buying or playing the game. I regret I bought the 69.99 version. The extra content wasn't worth it for me. If you had the qualifier 'In Game Decisions you regret, I would concede your point.

Yes, I've done both, and they are the same exact people but with different lines: "Our (military or science) families aren't being waken up because your choice of (military or science) settlement messed everything up!" The Angaran ambassador, Addison, and maybe some other NPCs express discomfort at choosing military, too. Other than that, no real difference, but military helps in the final battle apparently.

Probably (not) saving the salarian pathfinder. I brought Drack with me on the mission, and didn't want to disappoint grandpa, so I saved the scouts. I've heard how awesome she is, and having an actual trained pathfinder on the team would be beneficial.

"We made it" indeed. They play that up like it's a really important decision. The more time that passes, the less it will matter, so it seems unlikely to come up again in any possible DLC or sequel. OK, so quick question, does the orange little goofball among the protestors show up if you choose military?

The krogan complains about scientists not being woken up? That seems silly. There aren't many krogan scientists. In ME1 Wrex seems to imply there aren't any. It makes sense some would enter the field as time goes on, though. Probably (not) saving the salarian pathfinder. I brought Drack with me on the mission, and didn't want to disappoint grandpa, so I saved the scouts. I've heard how awesome she is, and having an actual trained pathfinder on the team would be beneficial. Yeah, now that I know what happens on that mission, I'm going to leave Drack behind and pick the salarian pathfinder. I usually do a playthrough were I burn a few bridges and make more dick moves. Just to see how it pans out. Though I will enjoy putting Morda in her place after all her empty posturing. Oh, good one. I had a hard time giving her the drive core. I'm not sure if I'll do it again. And yeah, I'm going to blow up the kett facility this time. Fuck the angara. Ryder saves their Resistance and more, and they don't do anything for the Initiative except maybe some of them stop being such assholes.

I regret not finishing "Tasks" when I receive them on the planet, because when you leave and do some more planets there isn't an indication in the description which planet you need to be on to finish them.

I regret ever getting involved in the "First murder" quest. What the hell BioWare? You give me a quest to find out what happened. Once done, the solution is super simple and straight forward: Reopen the case and charge the guy with attempted murder instead of murder. Done. Simple. Instead, I get "Exile" or "Let him go". Who'd ever do any of those in this scenario?

From what I can see, they still have them on amazon for example and since the game doesn't come with at least the RC Nomad anyway, it's not like you are double buying anything.

I agree though. I'm also not willing to pay that kind of money (not to mention that I'd never use the RC Nomad, not my thing).

Would've been a good quest where you can kind of investigate both sides rather than simply going with your brains first thought on who to pick.
