Similarities to Destiny

The Archon Priest doesn't even say intelligible words. He just garbles that Eliksni shit and I think maybe laughs periodically "SKRROOHAKISHA RRAAAWWW!"

I'd say he'd be closer to Oryx, though Oryx has surprisingly less vocal processing in his sound despite being a giant minotaur bat monster.

As for the load screen music, there is a part of A Better Beginning that has a similar instrumental, but the similarity ends once it gets into the actual theme. The old year 1 title theme has a lot of wind-chime-y sound to it though.

Oryx also went through a gender swap before being transformed into his current form by the Worms.

I also wish the Archon in Mass Effect was 15 feet or 5 meters tall like the Archon Priest. We're in a new Galaxy. Why is there not giant humanoid aliens? I feel like that's a missed opportunity that I hope the Jardaan fills

Well, the Kett can look a lot like the Hive from Destiny. But I would it's more Bungie that reused the idea of a FPS with special powers that share similarities with Mass Effect.

I know they don't look exactly alike, but my thought upon seeing him and hearing the opening music, my first thought was of the Archon Priest.  I'm strange like that.  It took as long to kill him because I didn't have my Gally to track his ass!!!!!

Besides being great at hype, bungies name alone is a big part of why their games are getting hype, they made halo which is one of the greats in the fps genre. Destiny itself wasn't a bad game either, it broke various records and made over 500 million in just pre-orders alone, sold 6.3 million copies in just the first month, and to this day is generally a top 5 game on the most played list. It's still a very active game even after it's been out for years, so it's no surprise destiny 2 is also gaining steam. I wouldn't count on D2 breaking it's own records but it'll be big nevertheless.
