Agreed, it was by far my favourite planet to explore with the Nomand, and the only location in teh game that got close the unexplored frontier vibe that ME1 gave me.

This was the one time where I felt like we were in space. The other planets were extreme conditions that can be found on planet Earth. The planet needed more to do on it. If there were more areas for combat and if they introduced vehicle combat, it would have been great. It was a nice change of pace for sure, but it felt like a really short experience compared to everything else. Its the one planet I never find myself returning to. It is gorgeous for sure.

They need to get the low gravity thing working for regular combat though. Mighty convenient that the one place with low gravity just affects the Nomad's dynamics a bit, but we are restricted from getting out due to radiation. But yes, more locations like H-047c would be great. Maybe someplace with a functioning colony/hub world and other various points of interest to investigate.

Agree with OP that H-047C was probably my favorite planet/asteroid. The views were amazing and loved riding around in the Nomad in low gravity.
Can you imagine ME combat in low gravity? Jump jet leaps that are hundreds of meters high, biotic and weapon forces flinging enemies around? That would be awesome! (But I'm sure it would be very difficult to implement, hence we can't get out of the Nomad.)

It is a minor complaint of mine, very minor, but lately I have been remembering all the cool and futuristic concept art...and the actual planets pretty much did look like areas from Thedas, but in space. However, I do not take much of a consolation from H-047C either. It was a deliberate call back to Mass Effect 1s huge empty rocky maps with only one or two quests and a LOT of minerals on it. Its not exactly something I want BioWare to emulate too often in the future. If anything BioWare needs to take more cues from Khi Tessera, Meridian, and Kadara, as well as the Frostback Basin from DA I.

Add things to do and it'd be a fine world. Currently the only appeal i saw was no gravity and a ton of plat and uranium minerals. It's a pretty empty world which is why I don't understand why people want more planets being made like it, as I said, add things to do on it and then it could be the best.

Glad to know that I wasn't the only one who absolutely loved driving around on this planet/asteroid. Even though the landscape was totally barren, it felt so space-like and alien, I fell in love with it because it simply took my breath away. And while I totally understand it would have required some special gear for combat, I still really wish it could have been made possible...

Whilst it was nice as a change of pace, don't forget that driving force of the narrative was to find habitable worlds. It makes perfect sense that the vast majority of worlds we find ourselves exploring have earthlike conditions. As far as MEA2 goes, I say why stop at just boring chunks of rock! I want to see worlds with chlorine atmospheres (like that ME2 N7 assignment) with gravity that fluctuates between low and high. I want to see worlds with a red giant sunrise. I want to see worlds where we have to race against a horizon wide tidal wave ala interstellar. We've established home, now let's get our imaginations into overdrive!

Because a vast emptiness is space. Humanity's first and lasting impression of space exploration is the Moon. Driving around on the other planets feels like exploring extreme wilderness environments on planet Earth. H-047c feels like anything but Earth.

It reminded me the most of Mass Effect 1, only a couple of things to do on a more restricted area.
I do wish that was about the size of all the areas to explore in the game and just have multiple of them on each planet, maybe then the pacing would have picked up some and the story would have had less lulls while you spent 15 minutes driving to the next location.

I would have liked a little more diversity with Eos but it should be awesome if we see it again in Dlc with plant life growing and more greenery. Although as Cora said, they may not live to see that day.

Yes and no. The planet is fun, but honestly I want them to go wild with LeveL designs AND the option to play with the gravity. You could design levels with no gravity, where you float around as an example.
I mean different weather conditions were a good start, but you are in space FFS, go wild!

I don't want them to go too wild, all too often that results in something that kills suspension of disbelief (garish space goes a long way towards doing that already). H-047c certainly doesn't do that, and was a good change. If you're after planets that more than a handful of people live on (i.e. one where you can breath the atmosphere) there are limits to how non-Earthlike it'll look, particularly if you pick a bit with very little plant life - which are also the bits that are easiest to make.
We definitely need variations on the gravity though.

That was actually my favorite place in the Andromeda galaxy. All the other planets felt way too much like earth, it was on H0-47C that I felt like being a space explorer for the first time in the game. It was sad that we could not get out of the Nomad to experience low G's, or even have low gravity combat. That would have been sweet.

They ned to take some ideas from a classic game that had variable worlds including grvity & temp.
I am referring to Mechwarrior 2: Mercanaries (also Mechwarrior 2). That had a wide variety of envronments including a series of missions on a giant Ice asteroid where if you misused jump jets it was farewell as you disappear into space due to very low gravity.
