Something utterly random: when I shave my upper lip I do not use any shaving cream because if I get any of that stuff into my nose it instantly starts to bleed. Have no idea what causes it but some ingredient in the shaving cream reacts rather violently with the insides of my nose and opens the blood vessels. :huh:

I have OCD which I've been dealing with for as long as I can remember. I've learned to manage it by making the compulsions into positive rituals. Before I have to go to bed, I have to perform a ritual and I like to set it to a cheery melody like the intro to Moomin and recently Dreams, Dreams from the NiGHTS series.

Speaking of which, whenever I become incredibly melancolic, I watch Moomins and play NiGHTS and listen to a lot of the OSTs from the latter. After the recent death of my grandmother, I've been playing NiGHTS and listening to the OSTs a lot and it's been a good comfort for me alongside my family.

This is timely, because I just made an appointment for this weekend, and I'm always an indecisive wreck in the lead up to a haircut. I need to cut it because it's getting dangerously close to mullet territory right now (grown out mohawk FTL), but I'm going to spend the next 4 days in a nervous panic, spend way too many hours of my life poring over hair photos on GIS and then go in and bombard my stylist with word vomit and hope for the best.

I'm the only one who cuts my hair, my mother was a beauty culture teacher and taught me how, so if I screw up it's my own fault but that's why I keep an ample supply of hair ties around and my hair long enough to put in a ponytail.

I just tried out a bunch of places around town based on recommendations and when I found one I liked, I just went there somewhat regularly. The current place I go, I know most of the guys there well and they do a pretty decent job every time, so no issues on that front.

In the end though, like they say, even a bad haircut will grow out eventually. So usually I'm not really bothered all that much, but I do tend to avoid getting my hair cut really short as that takes a while to grow out off.

I used to have one good barber but me and my family moved out of that area and couldn't find anyone who is good... yet...

I'm not very ticklish at all except around my ribs. However, I am not at all ticklish on the soles of my feet. My half-sister used to tickle my feet when I was young, and after one of those horrible times, I just stopped feeling ticklish. Nice protection mechanism.

I think one of the reasons why I started lifting and became a strongman comes from a childhood trauma that was having a sister and mother who tickled me all the time. I was too weak to defend myself. Now nobody dares to tickle me anymore! NOW I AM THE ONE WHO TICKLES! >:D
