I don't go for al that "enemy of my enemy" stuff. The Primus isn't a friend. She might have concerns and disagree with the direction the Archon is taking but that doesn't mean our goals can align, even for one mission.

She might have concerns and disagree with the direction the Archon is taking but that doesn't mean our goals can align, even for one mission. It would have more weight if you don't take the deal and you lose an important NPC or ruined outpost. At least, it would give me something to pause and think about. At this point, it's really just flavor. There's no "enemy of my enemy" plan because there is no benefit for me. I could kill them both. Lol. In hindsight, it only benefits the Primus not getting killed in that war. Either way, same outcome. I enjoyed the opportunity to choose either way. It just could have been better, imo. |

I passed on the Primus deal, it isn't worth trusting the Archon's second. Ryder has no reason to trust the Primus and after everthing the Kett have been pulling left and right. Taking the deal because "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" is utterly wrong. The correct one is "The enemy of my enemy is *not* my friend". Ryder has no reason to believe the Primus won't try and go after the AI as soon as they have solidified their position and somehow using the deal against us later on, so there is no bonus to us going for the deal.

I passed, but I don't understand why Ryder or SAM doesn't pass on a recording of the Primus' offer to the Angaran Resistance. The Resistance could have used that data to wage psychological warfare on the Kett.
The quest doesn't seem worthwhile to finish if you don't accept her deal.

Its at least one of the few times that you have a conversation with the Kett, so when I heard about it, I made sure and did it on this, my 2nd, playthrough.
Rejected the offer.

We will probably now never know the full consequences, unfortunately. But since disabling her ship and then blowing it away isn't an option, I say kill as many Kett as possible.
I reloaded an earlier save and brought the squadmates I most respect to hear their opinion. They said to tell her to pike off, so I did.

I thought I already commented on this...Let's look at the current situation: - The Archon is separating his forces from the main Kett empire, ignoring communication attempts and not reporting anything to them.
- The Archon focuses on activating Meridian, in hopes of using it to blackmail all the cluster. In trying so he occupies the vast majority of his force on unfruitful tasks and basically not making any progress (and is easily disrupted by Ryder every-time, somehow).
- As a direct result of that, his forces for Occupation, Exaltation, actually fighting the Resistance and doing whatever their genocidal main purpose is, are drawn thin. Yet, the resistance has a hard time despite this.
Basically the Archon is completely inept at his work (and/or megalomaniac fool) and focusses on the completely wrong task. Now the offer is to kill the Archon for someone who: - Wants to re establish communications with the main Kett forces, ensuing basically unlimited (or at least very, very hard to counter) re supply of forces into the Heleus cluster
- Discontinue the search and exploration of RemTech and use all available resources on directly combating and exalting every species in the cluster. Yes Ryder, that includes you!
Can I side with the inept fool instead of the genocidal maniac who knows what she is doing, please?
Really, the Primus is a far more dangerous enemy than the Archon is. Anything that strengthens her position makes the life of every non-Kett in the cluster harder.
