Interesting, I've never had any issues with door speeds on the Tempest. I've got the game installed on an SSD. The ones on Kadara are a bit irritating though.

My only problem with the doors is I have to be careful about running into Peebee's space while the door is opening/closing or I'll get trapped in there and have to reload (but no lack of autosaves). And sometimes that door won't even open and I also have to reload then. That's a really buggy door.

If youre like me that whole section of the room has to load in before you experience the door loading screen.
You should also wait until the other crew members load in and the conversations begin or the door may bug out and not actually open at all.
Side mission: Make it through the door and jump off the elevator.
If you dare....
