Thats probably because of the cutscenes mechanics. I typically don't have any issues with cutscenes. I'm talking about the door at the back of the bridge, or the ones to engineering. They're supposed to open automatically when you get close, but for some reason take a ridiculous amount of time. |

I rarely visit Kadara, despite running this game from an SSD and more than enough memory, the time to open the doors is ridiculous, they seem to have put the doors on a slow timer rather than check if the assets have been loaded. |

I'm on an old HDD and it takes 1-2 seconds to open some doors sometimes, because of the loading, I'm sure.
Sometimes when the door to the Tempest's cargo bay opens, the Nomad still hasn't finished loading and pops in a half-second later, along with some of the crew and some other doodads, maybe.

I don't think it is just loading. Sometimes the door will be already open but closes right in front of me. Then it becomes "stuck" where it won't open back up for a while. It is usually when I'm being indecisive about which part of the ship I want to go and breeze by the door, then turn around and go back to the door.

Yeah, this happens a lot on console. I have SSD on Xbox One and it makes no difference. Same thing on PS4 Pro. PC on the other hand is usually much faster by comparison for obvious reasons (dat CPU powa!).
