So, a simple question for those who may have read Nexus Uprising.
Kandros' shuttle is lost for months after he leads a scouting mission to look for supplies. He does NOT take enough supplies w/ him to last this long.
By the end of the book, he has not returned and most have counted him for dead.
Obviously, he's not dead, as he is head of security on the Nexus when you arrive.
...so how the hell did he get back? Is this explained somewhere and I just missed it somehow?
Or am I just supposed to assume he made it back because he's mutha fuckin' Kandros?

Kandros talks about it in the game. He and the people with him on the scouting mission got captured by the Kett and held prisoner. Eventually he leads a prison break to get them out and they return to the Nexus. That is what leads to him being in charge of the militia and held up on par with the official Nexus leaders.

I remember him talking about being captured and the prison break, but nothing about how they actually return to the Nexus. I guess I just assume he hijacked his shuttle back, or stole and flew a Kett ship, because he's mutha fuckin' Kandros. |
