All in fairness, our last Cowboy dies at the beginning of the game. His name was Alec Ryder. Basically MEA is like Red DEad Redemption, except this time John Marston dies within the first 10 minutes of the game, and we're stuck playing his whiney, bitch son, Jack. Nonsense. Jack was in a coma the whole time. Frakkin slacker. |

Haha yeah, the cowgirl on Havarl just shows up and she's randomly Texan or something.
I for one was shouting "YEEHAWWW" every time I crested a hill or canyon ridge and went flying, on H-047c.

ah, i always just saw the cowboy tune as a wink to reaching new frontiers.
Could have been a " boldly go where no man...blah blah" ,
or excerpts from Captain Cook' s journal .
as for poor cowboys, weren't they just underpaid , uneducated guys slaving away for rich ranch owners, stuck between their boss , the indians and multitudes of ruffians ?
Maybe that's what Ryder is: an underpaid boy ( the XXVIth bobo bedroom is deceiving ) though educated, slaving away for some kind of rich private Illusive Initiative ?
