Should be possible, you can do any unfinished side quests and dlc (except probably loyalty quests) in the post game.

@lee80 SpiritVanguard thanks guys, I'll do the Normandy dlc the last then :3 the thing is that I already did that in my first playthrough, I did the Arrival dlc too early because I didn't even know that was a dlc (my memory is just blank sometimes) and I was like what just happen!? xD after that I did the Normandy dlc to fit in the story and I quite liked that as headcanon, so I will do it again, but with a better timing

Oh so is she like that with f!Shep too? She's adorable to say the least, I would love some non-romance option to say to her, a pity

It is a while ago I have played Kaidan romance (with male Shepard) is Shepards past on earth a topic?

So I just started ME3 in my no-romance-til-ME3 Kaidan romance playthrough, and the way that Shepard says "Kaidan!" is way different to the one he says with an imported romance, which is more caring and sweet, that was pretty nice! still irks me the no dubbed lines, so annoying

Speaking of postponing missions for Kaidan, has anyone else ever waited to do the rachni one until Kaidan is onboard? I did that a few times, but it feels odd narratively so I always go before the genophage mission now.

Alternatively, I'll be off to do the Turian platoon+bomb missions with Kaidan next. Also feels kinda weird narratively, but, it's worth it to have Kaidan sooner sometimes.

I've never waited on those 3 missions, as they seemed like they were urgent to the storyline. I mean in particular the bomb would-wouldn't that exclude the post mission scene where you talk to the primarch about his dead son? Or does he still talk via some other method? (since he leaves after the Geonophage is cured)

Good to know. Thanks! I may consider trying delaying them sometime, as actually I kind of dislike how it seems like Shepard gets kind of mean about the Primarch lying and getting his son killed.

I don't honestly hear a difference and I've done "imported romance" as well as new romance in ME3.  There are still some "imported romance" lines for BroShep/Kaidan in ME3 that can only be seen if the captions are on.  This is true even as far into the game as just before going to Cronos.  To me, it seems that BioWare wrote all dialogue assuming you could not have imported a same sex male romance.

The thing for me has always been the way Shepard reacts after Kaidan is almost killed on Mars.  The way he says his voice.  Something about it says "you mean more to me than I've ever expressed" and that's regardless of import.  I think it's just the way Mark Meers says the lines but that's what comes through to me.  He was more shellshocked over Kaidan (or Ash, I would suppose) almost dying here than following the Virmire death where Shepard didn't seem so upset.  Granted, in ME3 Shepard had just seen Earth come under attack from the Reapers and thousands were already dead but Kaidan almost dying seemed to greatly impact him.

Hello fellow Kaidanites! I finally managed to find my way here after the old BSN shut down. I mostly hung out in the Biotic Sex God group, and I was kind of bummed about losing that (and other personal things) so I took my time joining up, but I'm ready to be part of the Mass Effect community again, especially the Kaidan fan community.

I first started the trilogy around October 2012, so I got to play through all three games back to back (with the extended cut), and I was taken completely by surprise by Kaidan. I was not prepared to feel what I felt when I played (and to be honest, I didn't even know I had those kinds of feelings inside of me). As corny as it sounds, Mass Effect changed my life, and I don't think anyone outside of this community can really understand. I finished in early November, but I can't remember what the date was, only that I couldn't sleep that night. I like to pretend that N7 Day marks the anniversary of when I beat the trilogy for the first time.

Some info about my Shepard: he is a Paragon/Earthborn/War Hero/Adept. I went with the default name and appearance, mostly because I couldn't create a custom Shepard that looked half as good as Sheploo, and I prefer to use default names in most RPG's. And I tell you, I am so glad I did. It's so much easier to find amazing fanarts and merch with my Shepard on it this way. I also chose the high EMS Destroy ending. As much as I hate sacrificing the geth, I really felt the other choices were worse. I considered MEHEM, but I don't use mods despite playing on PC. I prefer to make a headcanon that works with the game as is rather than to bend the game to fit my headcanon. It makes it feel more authentic and plausible to me (nothing against those who use mods).

Ey welcome! so agree with you about Sheploo, the art that exist out there is precious the CC of the original trilogy only created abominations for me, still undecided if I will go with default Scott Ryder or not, I prefer his old face design, the face model is hot, but the dorky old one with hamster face was adorkable xDD

At the end of ME3.

I expected to Charge through, get punched in the feels, then watch credits roll and maybe wistfully ponder.

Instead:

Amusing at first, but I couldn't stop it (triggers after they get Reaper-fried) or fix it. --In short, I had to revert back to 360 to finish the game, after being completely pulled out of the mood.  And getting too many Brutes and Banshees to the face from repeatedly playing the last part of London.

But... here's a kissy screenshot in matching-ish armor, I guess?

Despite the setback at the end :srs: I really enjoyed this playthrough and I love this Shepard. Thought about squeezing in more trilogy before that bug drained my enthusiasm MEA is finally in my paws, but, still other things I need to finish up first so this is probably my last romp in the Original for now.

No matter what MEA brings, Kaidan will always be special and irreplaceable.  He was my first BioWare romance/crush and will always be my favorite of the trilogy.
