Canadian Delicacy - The Kaidan Alenko Thread

Honestly, I've always played Kaidan as mostly straight (possibly only gay for Shepard) and Shepard probably bisexual. So they could both be attracted to Liara and it has nothing to do with whether or not they get together. I always figure that 160 years from now no one can be bothered to care about the sexuality of another person. In this particular case, fraternization would be the only thing holding them back. Note that absolutely no one is concerned about their relationship when they do finally get together.

Only read Revelation so don't know about Hendel, though I think Ascension is on deck for next read (skipping Deception not because it's not in continuity but because I heard it was terrible). I sort of doubt he and Kaidan ever hooked up. While he and Kaidan were at BAaT, Kaidan had a thing for Rahna. He probably wasn't looking elsewhere. Then we also know he went on a date with a doctor a some point after Shepard died and was revived but that it didn't go anywhere. When they do get together in ME3, Kaidan mentions that he hasn't really dated in the time they've known one another. The implication is (as I read it) that he never really wanted to bother unless he already had feelings. But, again, I don't really read Kaidan as fully bisexual, possibly instead being "Shepardsexual". I mean, he could be anything, right, but that's just my take. However, they still might know one another and so Mitra could still be a groomsmen at the wedding which as far as I'm concerned is canon that took place between mShep and Kaidan post-war.
