I had bought a new one to play MEA.  But my disappointments over Reyes and Gil (I'll avoid making a big thing but it bothers me) has led to me uninstalling until we get some dlc.  In the meantime, I installed the OT on this computer and it's been amazing, particularly ME1, where I previously ran into issues with AMD causing Shepard and squadmates to turn into giant black blocks for a good part of missions at Peak 15 and Ilos.  There are ways around it but it leaves you with washed out, flat graphics.  (Console commands can turn this on and off, so it's not difficult to make these changes.)  New computer went Intel and met suggested requirements for MEA. ME1 looks beautiful on it and all three games play faster.

Honestly, I went to Amazon.  It wasn't too expensive and I'm playing on a laptop.  I believe a desktop is probably less expensive, even with having to buy a monitor.  Since you already have MEA, you don't need to buy a computer that fits its requirements.  I guess it depends on your budget.  The laptop I bought was around $1200.  I'm positive an older PC to meet lesser system requirements would be less expensive.  Just make sure you compare the system requirements with what the PC actually offers so you don't waste your money.  And I think it goes without saying that, to truly enjoy ME1, you need to avoid AMD.

I'd like to see stuff at Apollo's but am not interested in seeing the unvoiced dialogue removed. It just doesn't make sense to me. That would be look removing the part where Shepard looks at Kaidan's ass, which only happens with a continued romance.

Yeah, I understand.  If you have captions on, you see the dialogue but can't hear it.  However, in thinking about it, it sounds off, at least in the hospital.  On Mars, though, there's some added depth.  I think it's just one line though now I can't remember. I guess I was thinking to just leave it but I guess I can see why he'd rather have something voiced.

I've been in contact with rondeeno.  Gave him some save files of mine so he could do some testing since I have a full trilogy run that uses his same sex romance mod.  A little sad he's not restoring the cut voiced stuff, especially since he talked about doing that for same sex Thane and Tali mods.

this is kind of offtopic but I'll do it anyway rondeeno how many recorded lines there are for Thane/mShep romance? I only heard the one on youtube, and that is only one conversation

Shepard: "Know that I love you. Always."

In ME2, there's MaleShep audio for initiating the romance with Thane (MaleShep even reacts to being called "siha") and there's also audio for the 'jealousy' conversation, part of which is in the YouTube video.

It's pretty amazing that the one and only person Shepard ever asks Chakwas about is Kaidan.  I still maintain Shepard's reaction to Eva Core almost killing Kaidan was the reaction of someone who held some strong feelings.  It's in the voice.  It's in the hovering aboard the Normandy.  It's in the Huerta visits.   You don't put that emotion in your voice someone who can't hear what you're saying unless you really feel it.
