Eurogamer: MEA fans excited by new hint at quarian DLC

Why is this nonsense? Because there's some rumors of a SP DLC? Something that is hinted at in the end of the game anyways. So if the hint is true, the DLC was already in the works. It's a rather prominent hint, as opposed to other lose ends. I tend to agree that there's some pobability a Quarian DLC will come out, but it says nothing on future DLCs and still is a rumor like everything else.

I already said, even without confirmation by the developer, there probably will be a Quarian DLC. Because the main game itself points to it, which kind of says it's already in the late stages of development or already done. Where it goes from there is anyone's guess. My guess is, that, apart from this one DLC - which still is a rumor brought up by one site - the guy is right. They won't start any new ones in the foreseeable future.

They look silly right now. 

And the nonsense I was talking about was suikoden's confident declaration that no such DLC was possibly forthcoming.

Well, I did say "if/when", because I prefer to consider possibilities rather than look like an ass. 

I'm not saying I'm not excited about quarian DLC. They are my favorite aliens in ME but damn I want my Harrier.

Also the Adas AR and Arc pistol are appropriate weapon to have back in that DLC.

I also hope we get to see their faces this time around. I'm not against them keeping their masks but want to see some quarian faces in dialogues or selected moments.

They kept the Dragon Age franchise going and pumped an obscene amount of cash and a new engine into it; even after it became a high society sport to hound little DA2 copies through the internet underwood.

My personal assessment is that they're merely struggling with the ripples of an ill-timed release and the necessary fixing, all while the staff traditionally gets to take some time off after crunching a game out the door. The patching must mess up the timetable & workforce management quite a bit, outsourcing or not.

As for the DLC, I am of course very excited and optimistic.

Cause otherwise, you'll just become dull, you know.

Then I guess the context tells you that Battlefield 1 wasn't succesful as well since it was 40 % off within a month of release? Good luck with that.
