So, this expansion would allow BioWare to release the necessary patches in the mean time and then i dunno a year later give or take (from time of release) they'll release The Benefactor dlc. I feel like there is enough from this so called Benefactor that doesn't warrant a 2-5 hr dlc that ME3's were. If BioWare wanted to they could clump together Garson's murder, Ellen being "alive" and the Jarddan into one package. Considering what this Benefactor knew about the Reapers without Shepard, who knows what the Benefactor could have learned in Helius before Ryder and AI did? It might cost a bit more then BioWare's typical 15$ price points like they've had in the past, but is that something you'd be down for even if it cost more to get?

Given that I'm also curious about the quarian ark, I'm not so certain. Even so, they feel like separate threads, and I'm not certain the "Benefactor" DLC is enough by itself.
There's a way around it: If all the arks had their own dark secret with benefactors of their own. You could use that Major Saelen for Paarchero, Sarissa (Pathfinder or no) could come back for Leusinia, and Captain Praeton could be it for Natanus (Just to pick people who are guaranteed to be there). If that was true with a big thing, then yes, expansion away.
But the quarian ark (including a dextro world to play in) would be a DLC, not an expansion. We got Avvar world in Inqusition. And I do think we need that one. It would be too much to include that in an expansion too.

3-4
They need to build up something great.
But sure, ideally, I'd actually want 2 DLC and then 1 whole expansion layer on top of everything next year, of awesomeness. I am no longer seriously considering this as possible though.

*If* we could have had something, I"d have gone with the big expansion. The ME3 sized DLC's were a joke for content (Levi and Omega to be specific).

ME 3 style. It does depend but the state of Andromeda's story would require smaller more focused DLC.
