I really hope that BioWare actually bothers to be as nitpicky about internal dimensions and proportions as I am one day XD I think the SR2 is actually worse for proportions than the original. In fact the internal layout makes no sense for the ship, let alone comparing it to the external.

The Tempest is definitely one of the best things about this game.

Oddly it seems even smaller from the outside As does the Nomad and shuttles. Vehicles in Mass Effect are always somehow given weird proportions where it doesn't appear like people of average height can actually fit in them. Walk up to the Normandy when it's docked in ME1. It's positively tiny compared to the internal dimensions in relation to some areas of its interior. Apparently they stole some Doctor Who Tardis tech.

In fact the internal layout makes no sense for the ship, let alone comparing it to the external. The biggest thing for me is the cargo bay and the bridge. The ship would probably be ridiculously long if we were to actually have to walk all the way to the bridge from the aft lift bay in a properly proportioned interior, but the cargo bay is actually the same distance from back to front as the elevator to the cockpit. That always bugs me a little XD

The Tempest is definitely one of the best things about this game. I love the design of the Tempest. It's basically a super sleek interpretation of the Normandy and I enjoy that quite a bit, even down to the combined cargo ramp and forward landing struts. There's some things I would change, but I really dig the overall aesthetic of the ship and its general layout. My absolute favorite thing is the bridge itself. I love the giant view screen and galaxy map controls being right there.

It's gorgeous seeing it from the comm room.
