I don't know what happened but the game is acting like a controller is attached. Mouse cursor is gone and under configuration it shows a gamepad.

Seeing as you can use controller and mouse/key simultaneously - which I do - is your game not accepting any input? Also, is the option to change configuration greyed out?

I don't think I've had something like that. Although a couple of times my 360 wired pad vibrated while I was playing KM.
If restarting does not do a thing (and you're 100% positive that you don't have a controller plugged), then I'd suggest repairing the game. Deleting\renaming configs could also work, but I'm not sure about where MEA keeps them.

What's happening is the mouse cursor is completely gone. The game recognizes the mouse movements but that's it. As I cant see the cursor clicking does jack. Ive repaired and even uninstalled/reinstalled to no avail.

Well I sorta figured it out still no fix though. In fullscreen mode the cursor is gone. If I switch to windowed the game turns darker.
Edit: Fixed it it was some issue with my tv input.
