Gifts for the Crew

For Jaal, a nicely illustrated popular history of the Earth civilizations (or a holo-projection or whatever they use). He visited the Cultural exchange, but that's just a propaganda centre.

For Vetra, I'd keep an eye open for that tacky lamp.

For Reyes, my first instinct would be good whisky, but there's no way Ryder would be better connected for that than Reyes already is.

For all humans, good coffee from Earth. ME universe isn't post-scarcity, so I'd expect there'd be more significance for rare delicacies like that (edit: this assuming coffee is or will soon become a limited luxury).

For Jaal, one of these portative solar lamps, because spending so much time in the Tempest without any sun should be hard for an Angara...

??  I think you missed the point.

My gift to Suvi is a compliment to her intelligence and thoughtfulness  (ie, compare it to the other silly gifts). I think Suvi would totally appreciate it since she enjoys philosophical discussions about religion, the meaning of life, etc., and I imagine the two of us discussing all manner of topics over tea. And since she is a very open-minded and genuinely nice woman (despite her whispering voice), I wager she'd actually read it as well, rather than summing it up in an oversimplified phrase. She doesn't see the foot-stamping type to me.

Or she might laugh and roll her eyes, because she probably has a sense of humor.

I am also pretty sure neither she (nor I) ever mentioned Christianity.

Well I figured Jaal could use something that's easy to take apart, and put back together. He would probably make something supercool like this.



Since Sara is into relics, maybe she'd like a Prothean particle rifle. That sort of weapon would be relevant to her character and pretty useful in Andromeda's environment.
