I clicked your link and read it. It seems like it`s hard to miss for most people still left playing.
Anyway
"EA is partnering with United Nations HeForShe, a global solidarity movement for gender equality, and anti-bullying organizations PACER Center and Ditch the Label to give back to our player communities."
They just had to include that PC shit huh........ I seriously am sick of all this PC stuffs drastically affecting and ruining Mass Effect video game and they just won`t pawking stop.

Upon reflection, I have concluded that I don't care who they choose to donate their money to.

Upon reflection, I have concluded that I don't care who they choose to donate their money to. I don't care either, but they are going to claim X million plays supported them just because we played during this 48 hour period, and the fact is I do NOT support them. I donate money to (insert politically conservative cause here) but I don't claim that everyone who reads my Twitchy threads someone agrees with me and supports my views.

Oh my...
"EA is partnering with United Nations HeForShe"
This is just what this game needed, backing a sham feminist organization promoted by a spoiled teenager millionaire worried about being called "bossy" and that wants all men to just "listen and believe". Isn't that wonderful?
If this game needed a final nail on the coffin for me I guess they have just given me the hammer.

Upon reflection, I have concluded that I don't care who they choose to donate their money to. And why you don't? What you think will inevitably result in what you do and if you are aligned with a certain ideology that is meant to destroy everything that makes art worthy to be called such you can be reassured that all your products will be complete crap.

I'm not going to claim that I understand what you said, but I'll offer my best guess at what it was and respond thusly: I don't think how a company spends its donations determines the quality of the art produced. Especially after the fact. Causality tends to require effect to follow cause, not the other way around. Also, my politics don't determine my appreciation for art, regardless of whether the artist agrees with my politics. I'm just kinky that way.

Also, my politics don't determine my appreciation for art, regardless of whether the artist agrees with my politics. I'm just kinky that way. So you think that, for example, a conservative Muslim can appreciate art when in the Sunnah ALL art is considered Haram (i.e. prohibited because evil)? I'm sorry to say it to you but your view of this context is naive at best. Your ideas WILL shape the way you act and if you knew something about feminism and PC culture (so postmodernism) you would know why such an ideology is the complete death of art. Have you perhaps ever gone to a modern "art" museum in the last 10 years? Maybe if you do you will start to see things from another prospective. If your politics don't influence your appreciation of art is because your politics are not PC politics and hence influenced by a post-modernism ideology. That's why. If they were then they would influence such an "appreciation", inevitably.

Amazing, it's right what this game needed!
I always think, while playing MP, that the lack of different enemies, factions or kits could be fixed by supporting gender equality. Which I find ultra uber mega great, supporting gender equality etc, but this is not the place (mass effect is so full of PC shit they break inmersion for many), and with a game with so many needed improvements, this is like trolling the playerbase.
I just wanna have fun with a videogame and fucking forget everything else, and this doesn't help much. Will they add a trans krogan miniboss to an apex mission, to further support gender equality?
At least I will have some new "content" to have fun with! But using all of us for their PC inclusivity, in exchange of a pack....is surreal. I still need to recover from the mindblowing additions of the S weapons, and now this.
Look if they were adding some nice weapons and kits just this weekend for this inclusivity thing I would not only not care, but rather be happy with it....but right now I find it more trollish than anything xD

I don't have a problem supporting equality (for everyone and that includes problems men face). Not sure why some people get so up in arms about it.

Maybe because third wave feminism is NOT about equality and SJWs are NOT about "inclusiveness" (the only "inclusiveness" they care about is the one that doesn't include white "cisgender" males). Can it be?

At least they aren't pulling the common charity tax scam that is legal in the US. Companies can collect money for a charity (add a buck to your bill for starving kittens), give that money to charity, then deduct the money from their revenue.

Stoopid Biovare. Bullies must stick together to make sure that gender inequality reigns.

EA is partnering with United Nations HeForShe, a global solidarity movement for gender equality, and anti-bullying organizations PACER Center and Ditch the Label to give back to our player communities. EA will donate $1 million to these charitable partners that are already making a difference for a better internet. How do you want to do that on the internet? Fuck no free goodies for me not gonna play this weekend just because i won't support this SJW Bullshit. Im already pissed that some of my dirty MALE money is spend on this political bullshit which does not benefit me and is sexist by it's definition. Instead of improving the goddamn game or a expansion they spend money on this?.

Can it be? Except you guys are the ones shoving the SJW label on these things. I know several feminists personally. None of them are man-haters. None of them are trying to keep me down because I'm a straight white male. We can't lump all feminism into one group because it doesn't work like that. Just like how all repbulicans and liberals aren't all the same. There's always extremists on either side- SJWs, MRAs, whatever you want to call them (and internet anonimity always brings out the worst). Having a knee jerk reaction and not supporting a good cause because of a group of radicals is about as bad as supporting them.
