If you're on the PC you can type
ui.drawenable false
into the console to hide the whole UI. But that's only really useful for taking screenshots so I'm not sure its what you're after.
(ui.drawenable true to get it back)

Because if you don't have a mission tracked it should no longer appear. I suspect a bug is likely. I can't imagine they intended that to constantly reappear. It does go away, but only briefly after switching areas before returning. |

I used to get this quite often, normally when redeeming a load of MP rewards or AVP deliveries. I found it happened when the list of stuff you've gained gets interrupted by you either area transitioning, starting a conversation, opening up the menus or accessing a terminal etc. Best to just let it tick all the way through, then the ticker fades away and you can carry on. Basically, don't interrupt it once it starts going.

At some point yesterday I rebooted while troubleshooting it, and things returned to normal. For now, I'll assume rebooting will consistently work if it happens again.

This happened to me a lot and drove me batty. It's some type of bug and it seemed to go away whenever I saved and reloaded.
