I find in some videos they say throw rank 5 duration also primes enemies, but I can't find anything written in the game that agrees.
Does throw prime with duration in rank 5? Will it prime through armor or shields? Will it prime if it doesn't lift the enemy?
I've hit a wall with guns and tech builds, so I have to start adding biotics to the mix. Dang insanity.

Last I checked, rank 5 throw still primes. They used to have a description on the level up screen which they patched out for...reasons?

Yes, Throw primes enemies when enemies are knocked off their feet with Rank 5 Duration evolution, but it won't work through armor or shields. I'm not sure how long the window of priming lasts for, but its definitely viable as a primer power.

Yep, but not shields or armour.
Interesting side note: through a quirk in their mechanics, throw + energy drain can double combo. Launch throw at a health bar enemy, then hit them with ED before the throw projectile reaches them. It will cause a biotic explosion (throw then ED) followed immediately by a tech explosion (ED then throw). It's a pity it only works on mooks, although it's still pretty satisfying to create such a massive blast.
