Female Turian Squadmate

For me, the character's personality is more important. If she's like Nyreen, that would be a big plus.  I guess it boils down to ... is the story good, are the characterizations good, is the environment good, do I want to play the game again? If the answers are yes to those questions ... then they've done a good job for me, of creating a good game.  Bean counting the numbers of males and females doesn't matter so much. 

Which species travel to Andromeda doesn't really matter that much to me, either.  In another thread, the question was asked, what if no Turians? And I'd be fine with that too. Same with Quarians ... it'd be fun to have them in ME:A, but if not, that's OK too. I figure the new galaxy will have plenty of species to meet ... and does the male/female paradigm generally hold up ... or we have mono-genders like the Asari ... I'm fine with that ... or something else ... if the characters are interesting.

It would be interesting to see Andromeda species with other mating paradigms. The Salarians are a bit different, not a hormonal-driven species ... but what about species like the Racni ... where you have a queen, some drones and many sterile females? Or a species like the Black Widow or Praying Mantis ... where the male is killed after mating? So we might see a few races where most of them are female, whether fertile or not. And celibate males who choose to survive, rather than mate and die ... though evolution would probably prevent that.  Or a mono-gender that is not in the Asari paradigm ... not mammalian, so no breasts, maybe live birth, maybe lays eggs ... maybe mitosis on a large scale. 

Whatever.  Run wild.  It's a new galaxy, amaze us with the different species. This would be more interesting to me, rather than tallying up the numbers of male and female squadmates riding in the Tempest.
