Actually Ian's with EA motive now with most of the other Montreal staff.

Well, all of the Montreal office is no longer with Bio, right?

Yup, here in Sampa.

I almost attended to ask some ANGRY QUESTIONS, because I had just learned that the physical edition would be delayed by two weeks here. But then I went "nah, it's WB games fault".

Now, I honestly wonder if they were trying to avoid the BRAZILIAN MEME STORM™....

For those that don't know, Brent Knowles was a driving force behind tactical combat and party control. He left after Dragon Age 2 descended into the action RPG realm and he realised these weren't the games he wanted to be making.

You're still missed, Knowles. You're still missed.

Do you know for sure that he was fired? Just because their Twitter information has changes doesn't mean they were fired, for a lot of people from BioWare Montreal (an EA studio) are now at Motive Studios (another EA studio). Of course there are going to be less people at BioWare, EA closed one of the four studios under their banner and that means they have 25% too many people, but if they were just moved internally to another EA studio I don't think that is being fired since they never had that "talk" with management.

I don't know it for a fact, I just know it  to be true.

From existing titles to unique new experiences, we introduced amazing content to our network throughout Q1.

Beginning in late June and into early July, we conducted our first public Alpha test for  Battlefield V. The results exceeded our expectations, with high demand leading to three times  our planned number of participants joining the test.  Feedback was highly positive, with players able to truly feel the advancements that DICE has been focused on in the gameplay. This type of early play opportunity is now foundational to our development process as a great way to engage the community and enable them to provide input we can build on as we move through development.
