I think we spend enough time to build good opinion about which ammo is best among 3 ammos available. There is no definite answer but I am curious what other players are thinking. My honest opinion is Disruptor Ammo is the king of all ammo types because I believe it is very effective against synthetic & shield.. and reliable stun most enemies while priming for very useful tech combo.

Sadly, because of not knowing how a lobby ultimately turns out, I am very cheap with my boosters, so infact, I am uninformed with regards to everything ammo.

I still don`t know what BW wanted to do with Explosive Ammo. I only used it with my Geth Juggernaut + Crusader kit. That small damage from explosive round was sometimes enough to finish off the enemy... lol Otherwise, ME3MP had way superior ammos and there was no real reason to use Explosive. lol

I find stripping shield function just too important in this game personally. Mainly because the toughest enemies I face is in the end those shielded ones.. Annoint, Observer.. and Sharpshooters.. The faster I take them down the easier the game.. hehe

So I tend to have my weapon concentrate on armor/health (=> incendiary) Also, my mind might have been troubled by playing more than 1000 hours of Warframe, so if I don't see explosions and particules every few seconds, I fall asleep But now that tech bursts are decent (compared to ME3) and that disruptor ammo isn't a nightmare for biotic squads anymore (again compared to ME3), if I played more biotics, I would choose disruptor too

Disruptor imo. But my choice of ammo booster depends a lot on the character I'm about to play.
Incendiary cheese used to be my favorite flavor, shame bioware had to ruin it :sob:

The energy weapons perform very well when equipped with disruptor. Best against Remnant obviously, but Annointed are such a PITA, maximized shield stripping is very helpful to kick them out of their barrage. Kits that can strip shields with powers are better off using cryo or incendiary though. Cryo seems pretty awesome on kits with Cryo Beam and the Snap Freeze evolution. The presence of so many red enemies, compared to ME3MP (Gold+), makes cryo so much more useful. Incendiary. Seems solid. I like the panic. But given how big fire explosions look, they never do as much damage as I think they should (barrels aside). This failure to meet my high expectations leads me to arbitrarily put them last. Last among equals, though, if that makes any sense. ) I'm sure biowher is going to introduce some shite ammo soon to dilute our inventories.

Cry Ammo: Cry ammo is the best on the human engineer. Snap freeze for the win. Keeps elemental tech going. Not sure how much armor debuff it has but Outlaw has a ton of armor so if it is in fact giving you extra damage vs armor it would be useful there. Combos seem the slowest in terms of time to prime IMHO. 1.5 x damage vs armor combo multiplier.
Disruptor Ammo: Disruptor is great in that you can prime and detonate shields and you get a little stun vs kett and observer shields melt fast. The combos suck as tech combos are the weakest of the bunch. These seem to prime the fasted, or at least faster than cryo IMO. Tech combos 2.5x vs shields (but is that really even needed outside destroyers)?
Incendiary Ammo: Little burn out but not much. The combos are strong and offer 1.5x multipliers vs armor. Faster and more consistent than cry combos IMO. Don't work on shields.
Personally, due to the speed and armor multiplier and damage I feel that Incendiary is the best if you are detonating. My go to combo/priming ammo. If you aren't detonating then disruptor would probably be best for stun (vs Kett and Remnant) and it smashes shielded enemies. Cryo for human engineer and if there is some armor debuff to cryo ammo then outlaw if you aren't detonating (seems too slow to me) as there are lots of armored targets....
So I honestly think this poll is bad. The ammo type you use depends on the character and faction. You probably also don't want cryo-ammo on a flamer build either or one person using cry and one using fire... You also have to factor in detonating or not because detonating objects often cancels DOT effects.

Snap freeze is soo amazing....I use a rozerad with cryo ammo and its absolutely insane. Was using the hurricane but finding I score more with the rozerad... Step 1: Hit with OL to strip shields or just stun them so you don't expose your self. Step 2: Freeze: Step 3: kill frozen target with bullets (Use ET). it and anything frozen near it will shatter and anything they hit will freeze, even things with shields if you get enough shatter damage. The chain can continue as long as there are enemies around.... Snap freeze is just soon glorious....Camping turret builds are admittedly decent, but snap freeze and ET with cry ammo and a high DPS weapon is just THAT much better.. I also find my rozerad with cry will freeze red bars pretty fast and you still get the chaining effect when you shoot and shatter them..

For versatility, I think I'd say Disruptor.
But my only successful Gold game was largely accomplished on the strength of Incendiary ammo, so it's hard to say definitively.
