So I looked around online and have seen no real news or reports on this front...
Does anyone think we'll be getting any story-based DLC in the near future? Content for MP doesn't count, they'll always keep balancing that and adding new content here and there.

With their teasing with the Quarian ark, it would be plausible that they appear in a DLC, it would be a shame if this was a teaser for MEA2. The thing is I would be surprised that a DLC would be released in summer. My guess is that it will come out in september.

I could live with the quarian ark being left for a future game, but we really should get some follow-up about the "benefactor" and Jien Garson's murder in DLC. As I said in my running commentary thread, given that someone high-up in the Initiative apparently (a) was pursuing a hidden agenda and (  seemed to know something about the SAMs, shouldn't Ryder and the other Pathfinders be freaking the hell out about the possibility that the Benefactor has access to their minds and could possibly even manipulate their physiology? It's almost like the possibility doesn't even occur to Ryder, whereas I - as a player - was wondering if I was about to open a Trojan Horse once I found out about Garson's murder and recovered the memories about the benefactor. |

I never thought about that, that the Benefactor indeed could have access to all SAM's. We still don't know it yet, but my guess is that the Benefactor is kinda real powerfull men, a bit like the Shadow Broker or The Illusive Man. I only hope that they make him/her as cool as TIM. |

There was a recent tease for Quarian Ark DLC in a multiplayer expansion. Hopefully Bioware are gearing up for a release late June/ early July.
Honestly, I'm itching for some DLC.

I think the Quarian Ark might have always been meant as an MP only DLC.
It might well have been intended to be BioWares attempt at Destiny style interactive MP that fans can be drawn into with "events" and then hit with the DLC to save the Quarian ARK. Releasing Drell and Quarians into the MP.
Makes it easier to bring in enemies like Geth without hitting the campaign with another inconsistent story that doesn't fit.
