I think he meant something that wasn't a repeat of Kotaku's original article (that had to be corrected due to a misleading headline). It did not sound like he was aware of it at all, so I doubt your interpretation.Kotaku was not the only source, there were many. The Know was another, which was where I learned about it. They reported about it being on hiatus as recently as a week ago. Regardless, I said that I doubted that there would be any DLC, but I didn't say I knew for sure. Hence my surprise at the request for proof. There is nothing to "prove."I hope people get the DLC and ME games they want, but the reports indicate that they will be disappointed.Proof is required. Just say something without validation is like saying the US has a president -not through election... again Proof is always required. As to other sources besides Kotaku that is incorrect. This isn't a court room, just like minded people having a chat. Do get a grip. No most journalists rely on legit sources not water cooler crap. Absolutely. And those sources are almost exclusively anonymous as A/ they don't want to lose their jobs and B/ if they're revealed they won't be able to supply any more stories. That's why journalists consider protecting a source's identity paramount. |

In this case, the story you're referring to about layoffs I followed closely. I have a personal interest in Montreal, Edmonton and Austin. The story's original intent and headline was changed not once, but twice. They also changed a few sentence regarding employees being "laid off" and "re-assigned." However, every lazy mook that has a YouTube channel got an erection and reposted Kotaku's article. I've checked Glassdoor and a lot of other sites and no real activity. Kotaku did have an interesting article about the development cycle. I would only bet that maybe 25% of the story is accurate, but that 25% made me rethink my perception of BioWare 2.0. |

I've already made my argument which you are either ignoring or are incapable of understanding. I'm unsure which. Anyway, any reputable journalist uses two or more independent sources. That effectively verifies the story, along with the journalist's relationship with the sources and their past reliability. Now, this is for major publications and I have no idea if Kotaku use the same level of professionalism. Point is, anonymous sources are the lifeblood of journalism, though you'd be daft to only rely on one source unless they had been shown to be completely reliable. |

Now, if someone can show me some facts to back up the anonymous sources like dev's on record or quotes from the company, that's something else entirely. There's no law that says a consumer of news doesn't have to take the article's sources into consideration. If any publication wants me to believe their "news" there had better be some facts. Otherwise, it's gossip. |

No most journalists rely on legit sources not water cooler crap. Interesting. Let's hear it. Educate someone who spent the last 27 years working as a journalist. What is a legit source to rely on? What defines a legit source and how do you think anonymous sources feature into that line of work? You obviously know what you're talking about, so I'm sure you will elaborate. Ok I'll take the bait. Journalists have anonymous sources on articles yes just like cops have C.I's. But like cops most legit journalists check and recheck all tips with verified sources. And most articles feature direct quotes from the person. Now some topics are sensitive and could lead to s violence or worse if the source is public. But when all your stories are articles that read like " a source close to the project/family/event," you are a tabloid. |

I am itching to play as Sara Ryder again!
For me having the first dlc and not playing as her would feel very odd, later on would be a different story. Now I just want to come back to my geeky hero and the rest of the crew.
