Then it's off to jail for me I suppose. By the way, I'm not kidding about this. I absolutely despise Suvi's voice. Tried avoiding Eos for a while so that I wouldn't hear 'leaving atmo' all the time. Don't know what it is, and I don't have a strong opinion about other VA's, but Suvi's voice just feels so... forced and fake. It really started to annoy me after a while, so in the end, I just ignored her. That, combined with her personality made her my least favorite character of the entire main cast. I know I'm probably in the minority here on this forum and I'm probably going to get attacked with memes and funny gifs again (which I don't mind so please, go ahead  ), but that's just how it is. I'm sorry, but jail would be too light a punishment. |

Suvi's voice bothers me unfortunately. I've always thought it was too soft and whisper-y and though there were times where it wasn't too bad, it wasn't enough for me not to dislike it. But that is just my opinion, just as I think Jaal's is one of the best, yet he's number one in the poll lol

I don't dislike any of them. But I enjoy Liam's voice actor a lot...I really thought I was going to romance him first, but it just wasn't happening with that particular Sara. Reyes was my other favorite. Actually this poll makes me realize just how much voice acting influences who I romance. It was a big part of the appeal of Garrus for me, too.

I think the VO in MEA was up to BioWare's usual stellar standards overall.
I voted for Jaal in this poll, however. I guess there are some people IRL who are that dramatic a lot of the time, but they get on my nerves. I think he overacted and frequently found myself looking forward to ending conversations with him.

I'm fine with all the VA, but I think I frequently found myself wanting to rush through what most of them were saying. Except for Jaal. He keeps my attention. Even with the fact that he speaks slower than the rest do. Or maybe the fact that he speaks slowly increases my attention?
Also, I think if you don't want to get shot or carted off in this thread, your safest bet is voting Avela. Unless some Avela stan wants to pop up...

I think the problem I had with both Suvi and Liam's vo was half of the time it sounded like you were right there talking to them and other times like their voice was being phoned in.

I've any amount of problems with ME:A but the voice acting isn't one of them. Some of the dialogue is atrocious but that's not their fault.
Even though Liam is my least favourite character his VA was fine. Nothing against Suvi's either. Both have perfectly acceptable regional accents. And Jaal is great.

For me, that's 95% of the equation. The VA's delivery, quality of lines and the animation to match the lip sync. Cora can bounce and that's all very good, but it's the cerebral stuff that keeps me connected. Cora got me. I wanted Suvi, but you know... she's not into guys... so dang it. Not risking squat.
