WTF, it's so much better! If this were actually Jaal's voice... Damn. What did they do to him?  He did a Jaal-like voice for it, then they added stuff. Here he is talking as Jaal without the added vocals:
Yup, I knew he did a voice, but the end result seemed rather heavily processed to me. Even though we don't hear him say much here, he still sounds better. Younger and more flexible in terms of range. |

He's around my age in real life and I could voice a little girl in a cartoon lol but when I first saw Jaal I thought of a voice like Nyasha's real one, so his in-game voice startled me, but it grew on me eventually, like Javik's. At one point he and Javik's voice actor were talking together in a mission too! |

Jaal is a close second tbh. I like him as a character, but he's supposed to be 27, I think, yet sounds like a 45+ man. I can see why others would like it because of how deep and baritone it is, but something about it rubs me the wrong way. It's not the same pleasant timbre that Garrus had, for example. Of the ones I romanced, I voted for Jaal. For everyone else, it's a tie between Suvi and Peebee. Too high pitched and whiny-sounding. Hurts my ears. Actually, the voice I like least is Sara's, which is why I've only played her once but Scott 3 times.

Not sure how much sense it makes.

I can jump accents in a single sentence  (Trying to do Scottish or Irish requires so much god'amn brainpower I usually go with US/England, though, and I dunno a thing about Wales) But yeah, what most people refer to as the "British accent" (Sheesh, what a fucking error... I'll just... yeah.) is the RP, or the posh arsewipe the nobility wanted to learn and now every non-native speaker is being fed it. I found out RP works just GREAT with sarcasm. |

I'm really surprised about so many for Suvi. Some of her personality got a bit irritating but there's nothing wrong at all with her voice.
As for someone going on upthread about British accents, then backpeddling to English, nope, still far, far too much variety there unless you think Paul McCartney sounds like Long John Silver and the Queen (just to pick a few). They should've had a strong Geordie accent in somewhere, that would've been a laugh listening to some people complaining about it being incomprehensible.
