What's your Ryder's/Ryders' personality?

I have the same experience as her. I can 100% pick logical/professional dialogue, but auto-dialogue has me cracking jokes which feels out of character.

For example, take Habitat 7. Ryder's logical.

L: "What the hell is that?"
R: "Don't know, but it's our job to figure it out."
L: "That sounds like your old man talking."

Auto-dialogue (forced casual):

L: "Is that sound coming from below?"
R: "Um ... alien gods of the underworld?"
L: "Don't say that."
R: "I think it's machinery. You can feel the vibration."
L: "The scale of all this. Who built it?"
R: "Alien gods ..."



Another example of casual auto-dialogue that is out of character for a professional Ryder:

R: "This is probably the access terminal for the drive core."
R: "'Why yes Ryder, I think you're right.'"
R: "'Talking to yourself, Ryder?' 'Yeah, I am.' 'Okay, just checking.'"
