I'd like Themikefest's opinion. I believe he had a swell idea for the cleaning lady, a right and proper female position. I would like that though I don't see a janitor being on any type of mission. But it still could happen. There could be an asari that is the janitor. When Ryder hears someone over the intercom say cleanup on deck 3, an asari pops out of her closet with her mop and bucket running to clean up the mess Its possible ascoon my only be a crewmate and brought on the mission for intelligence purposes. Bioware will reveal an asari commando that will be the adept squadmate. |

Of course, her design could change a good amount between now and release. She really hasn't: she appeared once in the E3 2016 trailer where the protagonist appeared repeatedly including without a helmet at the end. She appreared in the 4K Tech footage where the protagonist was focused on by the camera and where the protagonist was seen without a helmet during the same cutscene where she appeared. |

I liked it when the squadmates' classes were reflective of their character: like how Tali had functions similar to the Engineer class which fitted with her knowing a lot about technology.
I wonder what we'll see of classes: Are they the same? Are there new ones? Will the player be able to do something like put together a biotic engineer?

If she's a tech, it would be a significant change from the powers an Asari possesses, compared to the original trilogy.
In ME, Liara had "electronics" ... but in all other aspects, was an adept.
In ME2, Liara, Samara and Morinth were all adepts.
ME3MP, the Asari sentinel had tech armor, but in all other aspects, was an adept.
Vanguards and infiltrators in ME3MP were specialized adepts.
So I'm guessing our new Asari squadmate will be an adept of some sort ... didn't notice any cloaking or biotic charges, so for now, I'm going with adept.
I think the only question will be what are her powers? Reave, throw, warp and stasis? Barrier, Singularity, Shockwave and Lift grenades?
And if she's a potential LI, then fully spec Lash, Submission Net and Dominate?  |

My gut is telling me infiltrator. Otherwise, what else is the band across her face if not for hiding from people? Hmmmm, maybe that's one of the infiltrator's new powers, camouflage. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. EDIT : I certainly hope we get to see either in the trailer (or very soon after that) some multiplayer action showing us all the powers. And then not giving us the names of those powers. Dammit, I should really stop giving BioWare ideas.

Rupert is a great character. Better than any asari in ME. I liked Shiala and Aethyta. Not sure how Liara turned out to be such a bore given the latter was her dad. Not sure what to make of this new Asari yet, all I know is I don't like the faceprint. I'm hoping that one of the customization options is to get rid of it. OT: She's probably a Sentinal as others have mentioned but I also get the feeling that she has no biotic abilities for some reason. |

with that outfit i like to think she was from Omega . Biotic by nature she also developed Tech abilities from hanging out with the Eclipse.

I never felt Liara particularly made sense as a pure biotic. She clearly has technical expertise, both as Prothean expert first and then as information broker, and story-wise we don't really get any indication that she's a particularly exceptional biotic beyond the fact that she's Asari - and Asari biotic prowess generally seems to be implied to improve with age.
I'd guess New Asari's class will depend heavily on who else we've got in our gang. If no one else is particularly Biotic, she'll probably be the Adept, otherwise she might be more of a sentinel type. Hard to see her as Vanguard or Soldier in that outfit, though.
