Hello all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to do this. I'm sure some of you are familiar with the Aria: Eclipse glitch that does not allow you to complete the quest after talking to Sayn. Bailey's dialogue never triggered. While I have been looking up solutions, a lot of them involve hex editors and things like that, which is perhaps a bit too complex for me. I tried to use it but I just ended up corrupting my save, so I think another solution is in order. I was wondering if I could just use Gibbed's Save Editor to set the quest to complete and be done with it. I've already played the game so I'm not exactly looking for the story, I just don't wanna have a quest sitting in my journal forever because of a stupid bug. Also, if I do use the Save Editor, will it reward me appropriately? Like will the game give me the war assets and credits or nah?
If there's any other solution barring restarting the game (or just going back to an earlier save), I'm totally open to it. I'm just being kind of a completionist this time around because I rushed through it when I first played it years ago. And with any solution you offer, providing as much detail as you can would be awesome.
Thanks everyone!

You probably could by using the "raw" tab and going to the proper quest ID. Thing is, you'd need that. According to a post on "Cheat Happens", the ID # is 60089 for "Aria: Eclipse". Under "raw" you go to "Plot" and then "Quest IDs". In the dialogue box that pops up hit "add". Next to "value" you input "60089". That should mark the quest as complete. Mind you, I don't know that I've ever done this (haven't had this glitch) but comparing saves with the quest and without that seems to be the way it works. Backup your save and try it.

Thanks for the reply, though that did not fix the issue. I noticed when I opened the Save Editor that there was already an entry for 60089 in there. I don't know if that means that either 60089 actually belongs to a different quest that I have not yet completed or that this is just not the solution. I was looking through the program with a little more scrutiny just now and I'm wondering if it has something to do with the Quest Progress section. Only because there are 25 sections, just as I have 25 quests in my journal between active and completed quests.

It feels like the solution that person offered was just one step short. I followed their advice exactly, but when I booted the game up, all it did was show the "journal updated" icon in the bottom right corner for Aria: Eclipse. The quest was still active. I was curious if that maybe reset the quest so I went back and tried to talk to every relevant person in the quest--Aria, Bailey, the C-Sec Officer, and Sayn. Nothing. I'm wondering if it might just be a better solution to reload an earlier save and deal with the fact that I'll have to re-do stuff. It's a pain, but it's better than not playing at all. Thanks for the help!

I spent some time on this glitch tonight and it's frustrating bc no one offered a clear fix but I think I solved it for late and replaying players--I followed the fextralife poster's instructions but I also went to Raw>Plot>Quest Progress for 60089, clicked History (Collections) and then Add (just 0). Seems to have marked the quest as completed.
