Hunting the archon-who to save?

I've now tried both. Fewer people are angry with you if you choose the krogans. If you choose Raeka, Drack doesn't trust you enough to give you a brief quest after the main story arc is over.

If/When MEA2 comes out, I'm importing the save where I saved the Krogans

I hear that picking the Krogan will upset Tann, so that is a point in their favor. I personally am still torn on this.

I did both, but Drack never lets me live it down if the Krogan become exalted, and I miss out on a special ending, so I prefer the Krogan's being saved. Also fighting 5 exalted Krogans was a nightmare!

Raeka got herself into a mess and then emotionally blackmailed Ryder to come get her while she was in the middle of her own damn mission. I go Krogan.

Well, I chose Krogans for somewhat RP reasons. I feel that Sara (I played as logical with some mixtures of everything else) would see the Kett exalting the Krogan as a bad idea, so saving them was the smart choice. Still didn't make the choice to leave Raeka behind any better. Plus, I am certain that Tann will be mad at me, which I am okay with, so balances out.

Gah, I was planning to do the drive core thing at some point. Now I feel like I have to restart that mission and choose Raeka. That is a good story choice.

I also chose to keep Sarissa's secret since her choice overall is a bit of an advantage (kett routes means much in terms of fighting them, meaning more colonists will potentially survive), if that means anything. Will likely convince Rix to take the role of Pathfinder as well.

Picked Raeka and will always do that. The Krogan in this game are just too whiny, if things don't go their way, they threaten and are offended disregarding tactical and logical reason. A couple of scouts are less valuable than the experienced salarian Pathfinder plus the Krogan have already a world and a colony of their own. The salarians were butchered by the Kett so each salarian is valuable and need to be saved. They mentioned in the dialogues that they might risk extinction if they are not defended. So I saved each one of them. The Krogans risk no extinction so they can sacrifice more.

Drack and Kesh should just stop being whiny babies and realize they are not the only one in this galaxy. Plus I helped the Krogan in every other occasion when I could. I also made their leader an ambassador to fulfill the promise that was made to them for a political voice. I felt it was the right decision and the most balanced and honorable of all.
