MEA Liam Kosta All IN quest bugged for me

That's a shame cause his mission is actually one of the most enjoyable ones.

Did a search for "All In" and found a couple of reports. Not exactly the same as your situation, but the user comments basically say they had to roll back to earlier saves to get around it. =/ (I get it -- Peebee bugged out on me and I didn't have an earlier save unless I wanted to lose 10 hours of progress. I let it go and just got her on the next game.) I know it's a lot of work clearing through Liam's mission. Maybe switching to narrative mode will help redoing the mission go by a lot faster.

Well i have done this mission now 4 times at various points of the save and I am unable to get the shield down... So, when i activate the hack on the left side, it goes 3/4 through then stops, then there is nothing but more attacks, no nav point and I am unable to destroy the shield with any of my weapons or biotics, and when i go to the TOP RIGHT spot where the terminal is supposed to be, it does not allow me to interact with it either.. So, i don't know what to do. I feel i have no choice but to reload a game from yesterday and not do this loyalty quest, cause i am hopeless stuck.. Is there any other way to take down that shield?

i went back to the ship where i had not started the loyalty mission and then restarted it.. I am positive it has to do with the survivors and when you have to activate those two consoles.. I interact with them but they do not count towards the 0/2 on the quest.. I am thinking since that part is not done, the quest never completes when I go the last room.. Some stupid bug like that lol.

Yep, Liam is an ass, IMHO, but his mission is one of the better ones.

yes i am positive. I have actually watched like 3 video walkthroughs of it and the very last room has exactly two hacks.. the terminals are in the exact same spots each time!  One on the left as you walk into the room and the other on the upper level RIGHT side.. I can even walk up there but the terminal is non interactive.

I don't know, OP. I've never had that quest bug out on me but if it were that broken for me I'd run a repair, or even reinstall. I mean, those are some broken actions right there.

Run "Repair" by right clicking on the game icon in Origin. There's an option to repair in the menu that pop up.

Like Kino said, right click the game (in your Origins) and you should see the drop down menu:



You can also see the uninstall button if you ever decide you need to do that. Your save files are generally located in: Documents > Bioware > Mass Effect Andromeda > Save. You can create a second folder somewhere, desktop for example, and copy your save files over. That way you have a back up of your games if the uninstall/reinstall removes the original saves. (I don't think it will, but don't hold me to it.)


And finally, this is not the same as your problem, but kinda similar. On Eos, I could not beat the architect because after blowing the second leg out, it would fly to the final spot, but never come down. I reloaded the fight multiple times. Each time I had rolled back to a save before I started the fight. The architect just would not come down so I couldn't complete it. Other people had the same problem, but no real solution. I decided screw it. Rolled back to the save before the fight and just left completely. A couple days later, I returned to the same spot to see if the problem persisted and it went off without a hitch. I have no idea what changed. Maybe shutting down the game entirely worked. I don't know. Seems like you are just having bad luck with this mission. I can't find any other reports of your specific problem happening. =/

Oh leave it. This quest so entertaining as Liam is.

Let's say I would like to have an option to cut him completely from the game.
In my 2nd Sara PT I didn't speak with this guy even once.
Perfect example of badly written character. VA also very mediocre.

This mission was bugged on me as well but on the PS4.
The only way is to restart the whole mission but skip all your auto- and manual save files instead load the file " MISSION-Liam Costa Loyalty" or whatever called it is.
You got to replay the whole mission but this solution worked for me all the time on the PS4.
